A lovely place to spend a Sunday Afternoon 🫶🏾
The menu was delicious, I loved all the starters, the steak and the chocolate out and rhubarb crumble were 10/10
The setting is lovely, with the vibe provided by the wonderful
And the staff cannot do enough to provide a seamless experience 🫶🏾
It’s perfect if you have family visiting and want a chilled vibe that caters for everyone

Starter - keep it simple with snacks, fancy popcorn, crisps, olives etc and some fresh bread with nice butter my go to is always. These take no time
Main - choose 2 easy to cook meats on the bbq, a very quick salad (I’ll put the recipie to the one I made below) and a carb
Dessert - guests always ask to bring something so I say bring something sweet. I always keep high quality ice cream in the freezer and have some nice treats to put out
And that’s that, no stress hosting 🫶🏾

• Kite Beach on a Sunday, get there by 9.30am and park just off the main strip for a better chance of finding a spot. My starting point was the mosque behind Salt
• We got a table at Commodore Club but I’d book in advance if you know you are going to make sure you get a spot outside
• Download the Careem bike app so you can jump on one as soon as you get tired without the faff!
• The Burger Championships was a really cute vibe, very chill and space to bring a blank and let the kids run wild ✨

1. Apricot - located in Old Downtown it’s the perfect cosy spot for a slow weekend breakfast that requires no effort. Just lovely wholesome vibes. The Turkish breakfast, pistachio French toast and strawberry matcha are what I order every time
2. Commodore Club - it’s where I take guests and it never fails to impress. It’s located at the Marsa Al Arab Residences so it’s effortlessly chic and you can take a little stroll down the Marsa Al Arab Marina or Kite Beach when you’re done. Order the omelette but skip the matcha and grab one from heaf on the marina.
3. Alica - I love it here. It feels very European and disconnected from Dubai. The breakfast, coffee and lemon cake are 10s across the board. You can then walk it off by strolling along the port and you’ll find a great view of the Dubai skyline.
4. bKrY - The pastries here are sensational. There’s also something about watching the bakers bake, the whole aesthetic just works. You can easily make a morning of the visit and mooch around Alserkal Avenue.
5. Lana Lusa - For breakfast and yap with the girls. I’d probably only visit during the winter months as the terrace elevates it, but is a stunning option either way!
