沖繩藝術創作組合 O‘Tru no Trus 首度於台灣舉辦個展《漂流文明》，以長年於海邊採集的漂流物為創作起點，將自然素材、文明痕跡與金工工藝結合，創造出介於儀式器物、異族飾品與未知生命之間的獨特雕塑。
對O’Tru no Trus 的種村太樹來說，漂流物是物件最後的形態，每次見到，內心都不禁想問：「你是從哪裡來的？到底發生了什麼？」不知道這是不是一種父母心，但總會有種「辛苦了，你做得很好。」的感覺。
而尾崎紅則對受傷的漂流物情有獨鍾，她說：「那些破損的、崩裂的、缺角的，一切都讓人覺得無比可愛。」並且「珊瑚如此，人也是如此。最後，都會變成同樣的白色。」
跟他們相處每次都會被他們雙眼看出的世界打動。

Relics from the sea, an archaeology of an imagined civilization.
Driftwood, shells, animal bones, and brass.
For their first solo exhibition in Taiwan, Okinawa-based duo O’Tru no Trus presents a collection of sea-born sculptures and ritual objects, hovering somewhere between tribal adornments, ceremonial artifacts, and unknown forms of life.
This summer, join us in imagining the stories that drifted from distant shores.

古宇利島に向かってカヤックを漕いでいた
沖縄本島と古宇利島の間の海底は浅く
砂地になっていて
ジュゴンの主食となるアマモが茂っている
ふいに前方右手の方角で何かが飛んだ
漕ぐ手を止めてじっと見ていると
また飛んだ
黒っぽい何かだ
どう見ても生き物ではない
なんだか怖い
風も波も無く音のない海
そっと近づいていく間に
4回5回と黒い何かほぼ真上に飛ぶ
何かに放り投げられるかのように
その場に着いたとき
そこには黒い海藻の塊が浮いていた
探せど生き物の気配はなく
海底にアマモの茂みが広がっているのが見えるだけだった
凪いだ静かな海の上
ジュゴンが戯れに海藻を放り投げていたんだ
と想像する他なかった
「人魚の棲むところ」
