Another year, another beautiful reminder of how lucky I am to witness the magic of nesting season. 🕊️✨
I will never get tired of watching the sunbittern glide majestically over the river. Seeing it unfold those breathtaking wings is like watching a piece of art come to life.
But the real magic is watching them as parents. Seeing them fly back to the nest loaded with food—from frogs and shrimp to crabs—to feed their chicks is a beautiful reminder of how perfect nature is.

I had great luck on my trip in Meta, Colombia! 🐒✨ My guide spotted this beautiful Woolly Monkey right at the end of the day.
These monkeys are very rare and hard to find, so seeing one so close felt like a dream. It was amazing to watch him hang by his tail and snack on palm fruits while the sun was setting. 🌴🌅 It’s moments like this that remind me how important it is to take care of our wildlife. Just beautiful! 🇨🇴🍃

Llevaba tres días apostado frente al nido, luchando contra el cansancio y las distracciones. En la anidación de la Águila Harpía, el macho es una sombra: aparece cada cuatro días, deja la presa y desaparece en cuestión de minutos. Es un fantasma en el bosque.
Casi me lo pierdo. Tras horas de espera, el silencio te hipnotiza, pero un instinto repentino me obligó a mirar de nuevo. De la nada, ahí estaba: el macho junto al pichón. No hubo ruido, no hubo aviso; solo una presencia imponente que lo cambió todo.
Antes de que pudiera procesarlo, la hembra aterrizó con estruendo, reclamando su espacio con llamadas intensas. El macho, en una retirada elegante, decidió volar directamente hacia donde yo estaba. Ver esa silueta colosal acercándose, estando yo solo en la inmensidad del bosque, fue un momento que se quedó grabado en mi alma. Pocos minutos de acción para tres días de espera, pero los valieron por completo.

The second biggest world eagle but the strongest, native to dense Rain Forest in America, with a few left in the wild, I was lucky enough to connect with great people who showed me this amazing nest in Colombia.
This is female which slightly bigger than the male, and her job is to be next to to chick for at least 3 months without moving to far and the male is the one who is in charge to bring food that includes monkeys, sloths, coatis and other middle size mammals.
