Смотря в камеру телефона на это фото я, понимаю, что только спустя 2 года начинаю чувствовать этот город.

Амстердам во многом похож на Москву, только разумеется меньше в разы. Отсутствие гигантских расстояний и траффика, конечно, облегчает город и его восприятие. При этом при желании тут можно найти любые занятия по интересам.

Тут не сильно чувствуешь себя иммигрантом, так как особо никому не нужен, здесь каждый занят сам собой и своим делом - это общество индивидуалистов. Но все же, часто отношение у местных к приезжим, мягко выражаясь снисходительное. Хоть они и пытаются быть вежливыми и соблюдать заложенный в них интеллектуальный код, природная прямолинейность голландцев сводит усилия на нет и в этом их всегда выдает язык тела.

Я родился и вырос в Москве, где люди в погоне за материальным часто перестают быть людьми, становятся агрессивны и надменны. Это, кстати, была одна из причин, почему мы уехали. Такое есть и в Амстердаме, только мотивация немного другая, - люди стараются быть счастливыми в моменте и наслаждаться жизнью, не думая о будущем.

В Голландии нельзя выпендриваться - это не принято и никто не поймет, зачем ты это делаешь, так как по умолчанию внешне все примерно на одном уровне. Такое равенство - это, конечно, внешняя иллюзия на уровне принятых здесь норм поведения. Это особенно чувствуется, когда попадешь в место, где тусят успешные голландцы и видишь какие оценивающие взгляды, они втихую кидают друг на друга и думают, это незаметно. А если вдруг ты экспат и красиво одет, ты соберешь на себе все эти взгляды 👀. Люблю наблюдать за людьми, анализировать и подмечать что-то неочевидное. И как же сложно бывает при этом работать с собственным сознанием, чтобы не оценивать и не осуждать. Удерживать себя в этом фокусе - путь длиною в жизнь.
