Before we go on adventures, I practiced a bit with the backpack because my Hooman knows I might jump out at any moment, especially if I see kids running around the shopping mall.
But all the effort was worth it, because lots of people petted me and told me I was very cute, and of course, they gave me lots of treats afterward.

This is what works for me so please contact your vet and ask what’s best for your Schnauzer.
My Hooman brushes my hair at least 3 times per week. That way I don’t have to deal with hand stripping (could cause pain sometimes).
I use a shampoo called Top-Paw from that has always worked really well in helping me keep my beard so white.
Also, I sometimes use a second shampoo when it’s allergy season - it eliminates the acne on my back. It’s called DermaBenss and it works really well for my pimples. you can find it on Amazon.
I get a bath every 10 days. (Save your criticism. You don’t have to bathe your dog so often if you don’t agree.)
I get a haircut every two months. We keep the black hair short under my eyes (where the white line is defined); otherwise the black fur would cover up the white beard. In the video, we’re showing the white line with the finger. Hope my explanation makes sense.
I brush my teeth every night. This is very important because schnauzers can have dental problems. Cleaning my mouth also helps me to eliminate the food that could make my beard dirty. It’s key to consistently do this every day. And always maintain a good diet.
We’ve been doing this for over 3 years, so I’m used to it. I get lots of treats and it’s easy work for me and my Hooman.
