This piece is a visual portal expressing the energy of Reiki healing—something I have practiced and experienced deeply over the years.
Incorporating natural elements such as coral sand from Okinawa, pampas grass, bamboo, and cedar, I created this work using materials sourced from the land and spirit of Japan itself.
These raw elements ground the painting in Earth’s presence while allowing its energy to reach into unseen dimensions.
When channeling Reiki, I feel an energy through my palms that is both profoundly physical—almost earthen in texture—and at the same time exquisitely subtle, like a vibration moving through light and spirit.
This duality—the grounded and the ethereal—is expressed through bold textures and delicate strokes layered together on the canvas.
The colors were chosen intentionally with contrast in mind. Rather than soft or pastel tones, I used vivid, sometimes jarring colors to convey that healing is not always gentle—it can also be an awakening force, a pulse that reactivates forgotten light within.
May this work serve as a doorway to remembering the wholeness of your energy—both shadow and radiance, both stillness and power.

I added powdered crystal quartz to the colors as a symbol of purity, to express the energy rising from within.
Rather than trying to control or define it, I allowed the painting to unfold intuitively—just as a child might freely play with color and light.

This piece began with a simple yet powerful gesture: shaping premium ceramic red clay onto a wooden canvas. As the clay dried, organic cracks naturally formed. At first, I considered repairing them—but instead, I chose to embrace them.
There was something deeply resonant in those cracks—an unexpected beauty that spoke to the soul. In that moment, I was reminded of the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi—the appreciation of imperfection, transience, and the quiet elegance found in things that are incomplete.
Rather than using synthetic paints, I layered pure pigments from natural minerals such as coral and earth-born stones—traditional Japanese iwa-enogu (mineral pigments). These colors, drawn directly from the earth, hold a subtle, grounded presence.
For the golden accents that flow through the fissures and open spaces, I used pure gold powder suspended in resin—a technique that captures both delicacy and radiance.
The work itself is physically heavy—an embodiment of the earth. It is composed entirely of natural materials, and its presence is quietly powerful.
I hope, by holding or gazing upon this piece, you can feel the stillness, the quiet healing, and the raw, untouched beauty of simply being.

色彩には、アクリルなどの人工的なものは一切使わず、日本の岩絵の具を中心に、珊瑚や天然鉱石など、地球そのものから生まれたミネラルの色を丁寧に重ねました。
そして、割れ目や空間に流れる金の部分には、純金の粉を樹脂に溶かし込むという手法を用いています。
この作品は実際に手に取ると非常に重く、自然の素材だけで構成された、存在感のある一点です。
