A must visit when in Budapest. I can say this is the best professional Nutcracker ballet I’ve seen. It’s so magical and surreal, the play transports you and the music is so divine. I
We spent this Winter in the beautiful Easter European Country and it was spectacular. We even got a few days of snow ❄️
This is what makes Budapest Hungary so special
📌 safety: we felt really safe being here with kids, it’s a lively culture and overall the sense of peace being here.
📌 family friendly: there are some amazing parks to explore and visit in case the kids need to let off some steam. There’s lots of activities for the kids also, ice skating, ⛸️ in most cafes ☕️ we went in they had a small kids corner which my youngest absolutely loved.
📌 shopping was phenomenal we were here just in time for the winter sale and OMG it’s a must stop.
📌 transportation: the transportation was easy and effective, also super clean and it just made sense. The only catch was in some of the older metro stops there were only stairs so if you had a stroller you had to carry it down.
📌 the food was phenomenal there’s a ton of variety but I recommend trying local dishes my favorite was the goulash and their duck is so good.
📌 Ensure to plan ahead and book ahead for restaurants as during busy season most places can be booked out.
📌 Budapest has lots to offer, so ensure to stay for a couple of days to fully enjoy the city. 🌆
