Einav Nitzani is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker currently pursuing her MFA in Film at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Drawn to stories that balance comedy and heartbreak, her work explores identity, intimacy, and the emotional contradictions people carry through their relationships. She is currently expanding her thesis script, “In the Light of the Afternoon”, recipient of the AnnaRose King Production Award, into her first feature.

AnnaRose King graduated from the Graduate Film Department in 2014 with a comedic feature thesis film, GOOD ENOUGH. Her filmmaking career was cut tragically short when she died in 2021 of cancer. The AnnaRose King Production Award was endowed by her friends, family, colleagues and classmates to honor her creative legacy and memory.

Katy is an award-winning doc film director, cameraperson, and producer. Her feature directorial debut, Flood, will broadcast on PBS Independent Lens in July 2026. The film captures a pivotal moment for her family, which is both tightly knit and deeply divided. It won Special Mention in International Competition at IDFA and Best Kansas Feature at Tallgrass Film Festival. Previously, Katy worked for Laura Poitras on three features and two shorts, including Oscar-winning CITIZENFOUR (HBO) and Emmy-nominated The Oath (POV). Alex Jiang is a writer, director, and producer originally from Hong Kong and based in New York City. Her work explores culture, gender, and identity through a feminist and Asian diasporic lens, often centering young women and queer characters navigating the discomfort, silences, and mythologies that shape their bodies. Her work moves between grounded realism and genre, drawing from folklore, body horror, and magical realism.
She holds a BFA from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and is currently pursuing an MFA in writing and directing at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her short films have screened at the Palm Springs International ShortFest, the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, and the Taiwan International Queer Film Festival, among others. “Laser Gato” is a short film written, directed, and edited by Grad Film alum Lucas Acher and produced by MFA candidate Naa Adei Mante. “Laser Gato” received First Prize at La Cinef.
“Clarissa” is a feature film written and co-directed by Grad Film alum Chuko Erisi and edited by alum Blair McClendon. “Clarissa” premiered at Director’s Fortnight.

“Sunday’s Children” is a short film written, directed, and edited by Grad Film alum Reuben Hamlyn, produced by MBA/MFA candidate Devin Carey, cinematography by alum Melanie Akoka, production design by MFA candidate Brian Goodwin, and assistant directed by alum Raha Amirfazli. “Sunday’s Children” premiered at La Cinef.
