Gifted | A true NYC to London to Mumbai inspired recipe with these flavorful Chili Cheese Bagels. It's one of my go to picks on the Dishoom menu, and on these NY Bakery Bagels it's a great combo. I shredded up about 150g of mature cheddar, chopped three green bullet chills, and 1/2 a shallot, and created my mixture.
The bagels were already pre sliced and with the 10g of protein and lighter bagel, there was no need to scoop out the middle. I just used back of a spoon to press it down to create a bit of a valley for the cheese mix so could get it really cheesy! Once spread, I grilled for a few minutes until cooked through and voila - chili cheese bagels in 10 minutes! It was a great twist on the traditional toast, and made for a filling snack or brunch dish!

Gifted | Meliza's kindly sent me their unripe casarecce to give a try and I thought I'd make a fusion recipe inspired by the pasta!
This tasty masala tinged pasta is a perfect easy meal for the new year and plant-based for Veganuary! The pasta was savory and hearty and worked well with the boldness of the spicy tomato sauce. I would definitely make this duo again
Chop half an onion and half / 1 whole colored pepper of choice
Boil pasta per instruction
Heat vegetable oil of choice in frying pan
Add 1tbsp of chopped garlic and 1/2tbsp of minced ginger
Let cook and add in onions and cook 1-2 mins
Add in 1tsp of red chilli powder, ground cumin & coriander powder, and turmeric
Once a paste like texture forms, add in pepper to cook for 2-3 mins
Add in 3/4 can of chopped tomato and a bit of pasta water
Once all cooked through, add pasta and serve!

We had the แดแดสแดแดษด าสษชแดแด แดแดาแด แดษดแด สสแดแดกแดแดสแดส แดสแดษช sแดสแดแดษด. And the แดแดสแด สแดษชsแด & แดแดษด าสษชแดแด แดกษชสแด sแดแด สแดss for the large plates, paired with some แดแดสแด แดสษชแดs & แด ษชสแดส สษชแดแด. I think the small plates were the highlight, I particularly loved all the complexity in the salmon with the complimenting flavors coconut and ponzu and chillies. The larger plates felt a bit more basic, though the Kare Raisu was quite filling for the portion. The Dirty Rice was nice with the egg yolk to mix in!
The Last Talisman remains a fun stop on Bermondsey Street, and the food continues to add to their amazing cocktail experience! And check out their Christmas decor!

They even have some props and honestly I had too much fun with the fan! I did wonder how they would all come out, but just ended up getting into the flow once I was a few minutes in and having a blast. It felt like such a nice judgement free space and activity to really just be oneself. The pics come shortly after, and are in black and white unless you add a color package.

Be prepared to wait as these are always packed - some do take reservations but can sometimes be hard to come by. Pulling this one out from the files! Love scallops and had to pair it with my other fav, pasta! Recipe below, give it a go!
- Cook your scallops, by heating 1 tbsp butter in cast iron skillet, and sear scallops few minutes each side until brown
- Boil 1 cup of pasta in salted water
- Cook 1 cup spinach
- Drain pasta, save a little water. Add in 2 tbsp cream cheese, the cooked spinach, 1 tsp garlic powder, and handful of chopped chives
- Plate up pasta and add scallops on top! Chilli flakes if desired
