At 35, my focus has been on skin health. Maintaining collagen and “banking” it for the future has been my priority. I’ve treated my entire face with filler—no area is untouched—and I’ve done multiple sessions over the years (I’ve literally tried it all). Now that my face is in harmony and equilibrium, my goal has shifted from building to maintaining.
To support this, I’ve incorporated Sculptra, MOXI, and Microneedling to stimulate collagen, continue with Botox for prevention and tissue manipulation, and maintain my filler on a yearly basis.
Since I have thinner skin, under-eye filler isn’t the best option for me. Instead, I’ve been using PRF-EZ Gel to strengthen and thicken my under-eye area, which has been incredibly beneficial for skin quality and overall appearance.
The most impactful treatment on my face has been lower-face Botox, where I treat my platysma. This helps lift the lower face and reposition tissue, creating a natural lifting effect. It’s by far my favorite treatment, and it’s something I will never go without.
Now, the focus isn’t on adding more, but on preserving what’s already there, keeping my skin strong, and aging thoughtfully.

The amount of product someone needs depends entirely on their anatomy, their starting point, and their goals. Some patients require more foundational support, while others need subtle contouring or fine-tuning. I include the number here to give you a realistic idea of what it actually takes to create an outcome like this—or more importantly, to show that achieving true balance ALMOST ALWAYS requires more than a single syringe.
That’s why I always tell patients: don’t focus on the syringes—focus on the strategy. Your provider will assess bone structure, volume, skin quality, and overall balance to determine the most appropriate plan for your face. Everyone is unique, and the approach should reflect that.

This is the furthest from the truth. You can get filler at any age, you just need a thoughtful plan. Mature lips can absolutely be treated, but the strategy shifts. We’re working with different collagen levels, different hydration, and a natural reduction in structural support. If we ignore that, the result can look heavy or out of place.
So instead, we focus on:
• Restoring definition that’s been lost
• Hydrating the tissue so the lips look healthier
• Gently replenishing volume without creating a “fuller” look
• Respecting the natural proportions of the mature face
When done correctly, mature lip filler creates a refreshed, elegant result.

We placed most of the product in the upper lip, as this area required a bit more attention than the lower lip. When working with looser lip tissue like this, careful product selection is super important! Some fillers don’t hold as well in looser tissue, and can look lumpy—which is the opposite of what we want.
Also, think about the way individual in your chair. Age, lifestyle, and personal preferences all influence the best approach. There’s no “one-size-fits-all” filler—success comes from listening to your patient, assessing their anatomy thoroughly, and using clinical judgment and intuition to achieve satisfactory results.
