Michelada (often called the beer bloody mary) is a Mexican cocktail that often uses Chamoy as one of its main ingredients. Interested?
Carino's Recipe for a Mango Michelada (non-alcoholic version):
Ingredients:
1 Tbs nuEra X Cariño Chamoy magical infused condiment
3 Tbs mango purée
2 Tbs fresh lime juice
1.5 Tbs passion fruit purée
3 dashes Maggi seasoning
2–3 dashes Salsa Lizano (or Worcestershire)
1x12oz N.A. beer (light or lager)
Tajín or chili-lime salt (for rim)
Lime wedge
How To:
1. Rim a chilled pint glass with lime or chamoy and dip in Tajín or chili-lime salt.
2. Add mango purée, lime juice, passion fruit, chamoy, Maggi, and Salsa Lizano to the glass. Stir gently.
3. Add ice if desired. Slowly pour in the cold NA beer and stir gently to combine.
4. Taste and adjust with more lime, chamoy, or seasoning as preferred. Garnish with a mango slice or Tajín-dusted lime wheel if desired.
Sip or drain at your leisure, lick the rim for remaining Chamoy and enjoy this NU elevated classic.
For those that light their Michelada "bloody", substitute fruit juices for tomato (or clamato) juice.
