✨ THANK YOU for the honor of #1stdibs50 this year!!!!! ✨ This one’s a very special year too, as we recorded + debuted a podcast together about objects. I’m like a little chick 🐥 learning from how you shape conversation + ask the best questions.

✨💡🙏🏽 Completely utterly overwhelmed at how my newest lights with have resonated with so many ppl at High Point Market 🙏🏽💡✨!!!!! Like I am still processing that our lights this season got weirder, more irregular, more Japanese, and somehow that vibrationally connected to my fellow 👽🍢?!?!?!

I’m just sosososo grateful to everyone who’s stopped by to see our collection, and to Corbett + the HVLG team for this ongoing collaboration. Like our OG 2024 collab, this collection takes inspo from jewelry — my love of chains and charms and hardware and stones — but adds an organic point of view, like shrooms from the forest and wisteria draping down and woven textures and Hoshigaki dried persimmons. We even made a glass + alabaster sconce inspired by hotdogs 🌭?! (organic hotdogs)

Thank you thank you thank you for such a loving supportive warm reception for these new light forms. The part of me who always feels like a weird little freak in a room full of human beings, feels so seen because you appreciate the way these lights are so very beautiful.

🍁 🍃 🍬 All I’m saying about today being 4/20 is that the most consistent compliment we got on our “Reflections on Stardust” room in the 2023 SF Decorator Showcase was that ppl wanted to get 👽🛸🍄💓 in this room and hang out. And that meant everything to me 🤪🥹🤭. Stay safe out there and remember we are all connected and so small in the infinitude of our universe.

📷: but then I added a IG filter because who cares let’s pretend it’s 2012
Noz Nozawa brings her signature aesthetic to a second collection ✨

🎄🍄⬛️🟥🪵 ‘Tis the season for hot baths, hot cocoa, + hot Buffalo plaid 🪵🟥⬛️🍄🎄
This 1972 wood cabin became ours exactly 7 (!!!!) years ago!!! 🥹 I remember so fondly seeing the bathrooms for the first time and squealing gleefully that they were in TERRIBLE condition 😂 – PERFECT!!!! Swipe to see the Before/After but also imagine tiles literally falling off the shower curb + a toilet with a 40 year old wooden seat that swirled around threatening not to flush for 30 seconds every time. And yet this was the last space we renovated because the kitchen and upper bath were EVEN more needy 😅!

I’m sort of privately notorious for removing and shrinking windows on projects when I think they are unnecessary, which I guess is industry-sinful. But Deer don’t need to see into my bathroom (nor the hikers in the forest that our house backs into!), and I didn’t mind a moodier bathroom — I mean look at the tile! New layout is much more open and optimized (added a tub!). The ceiling soffits down over the toilet and showerhead, but not for the fan! – inside the soffit is actually all the drain piping from the bathroom upstairs because the cabin architecture was old-school with no room between floors to hide this stuff so we squeezed the fan HVAC in there!!!!

Sconces, a vintage find from, began my obsession with wood light fixtures. And speaking of wood, I decided on wood-look porcelain tiles to replace the barely-wood-look linoleum flooring because I thought that was sort of FUNNY but also tbh I struggled to choose a floor tile to go with the Buffalo check pattern for 2 years.

Mega ❤️ to former + forever teammate for the audacious idea to do (also thank youuuu Fireclay!!!) in my lifelong favorite plaid and to for being the best plumbing vendor we could ever dream of.

Two more days of work week and 1 more actual week until I’m back in here, not answering any DMs or emails for the rest of the Xmas season!!!!!

Much lovvveeee!!!!

✨🌈 When the design brief is simply, “RAINBOW” 🌈✨
In love with this project, these clients, their family, their house. And so grateful for the electric ⚡️ creative freedom to go, honestly, pretty bonko in here. 🤩👽🦄🏳️‍🌈

Rainbow ombré main staircase was a MUST. So was a coat closet armoire which we made part of the rainbow geode walls (an idea I’d concepted for a Barbie Malibu DreamHouse story years before!!). The “geode” blob rug, I hand-drew the template on paper we taped to the floors, which was a moment of falling in love again with the work we do: no matter how digital our industry capabilities get, some things must be done on-site, by hand, crawling around on your knees with a sharpie 😂

Still amazing to me that the clients and I met + became friends 12+ years ago at a Juanita More’s Bootycall Wednesdays party at Q Bar on Castro. Much life + many changes since, but the constant between us will always be San Francisco. Very very proud to have been a part of this truly iconic SF home!!!!!!
