It brings me much sadness to deliver this news, but it’s something i’ve been thinking a lot about since the world turned upside down with quarantine. Not Ur Girlfrenz was a band we started when Maren and I were 12 and Gigi was ONLY 10! It was a wild ride and we made so many amazing friends AND memories along the way. It was the best thing that could ever happen at that time, and it would’ve never happened without all our incredibly supportive fans.
We started this band with the intention of inspiring a new generation of kids to make music and play instruments and that legacy will carry on forever. The songs I’ve written lately simply aren’t NUGF. As an artist and creator, I want to give you all the most honest and real content that is true to my heart. We will all separately still continue to pursue music because it’s our lives and what we are meant to do - just in a different way. I love you all so much and the music and purpose of Not Ur Girlfrenz will last forever. ❤️
