📍 has officially become my new favorite pasta place. Not just in DC but I think ever in life. I honestly wish they’d just bring a location to Houston because the way I’ve been craving this since I’ve been back should really be studied. All their pasta is handmade non of that out of the box pasta. Which I never realized how much that truly makes a difference. They have signature pasta options or you can build your own bowl. Yall know I love to have it my way so I had to build my own bowl. Steal my pasta order next time you stop by when you’re in DC I promise you won’t be disappointed

2025 came with some heat for real. Let’s get into my top events that will be seeing me again in 2026 and that you should definitely attend if you haven’t:
✨ rogue room was so fire! You got a free gift unlimited drinks and unlimited vibes. I’m hoping they bring this one back in 2026 and allow more people because the vibes were amazing. And it was free! We love that
✨ hosts mixers and elixirs almost monthly and I can’t lie it’s a whole vibe. A literal party in a museum for about $20. They have bars, food and a party on every floor. 100/10 don’t miss them for NYE
✨ and House Party Fridays at Around the corner are tied cause I couldn’t decide. I love them both so much and recommend them to everyone when they ask me what to do when they come to Houston. The vibes are lit without being too crazy and you don’t need a section to have a good time. Plus gives you 2 free drinks. We love that
✨ Fam Jam is always going to be a vibe. For $20 you can dance, play games and just chill like you’re at an old school bbq. Now parking is terrible BUT just uber cause you’re going to grab a drink while you’re here
✨ is my number 1 event because I LOVE when the tickets are worth it. Unlimited tacos and tequila all night long. You’re going to leave full and lit. I was in the rain having a BALL.

📍 celebrated their 15 year anniversary and convinced me that I haven’t been sleeping right my entire life. As soon as I lay down on this mattress, I knew that I was gonna need to find a way to bring it home with me. I see why Olympians are well rested and perform at their best because once you touch one of their mattresses, it’s like laying on a cloud. Y’all ever seen a mattress that has a massager, a flashlight on the remote, is adjustable, and has under bed lighting? I know you haven’t!

📍 has entered the chat for the best place for tacos in Houston. I’m sure we all can agree that freshly made anything is always gonna be better. So whenever I see a freshly made tortilla, I’m gonna get it every time. The fact that they make all of their tortillas fresh in house daily speaks volumes on how they care about the quality of the tacos, putting up. Not to mention, they marinate the meat for at least 12 hours. Now my favorite taco to get from any taco shop will always be Barbacoa. But for some reason, it’s always hard to find a place that has good barbacoa. I’m happy to say that this is not a problem here. I was expecting that to be my favorite taco but once I tried that ribeye taco it was over. So seasoned so juicy so flavorful and that’s without the green salsa.
I heard that they’re about to start serving breakfast tacos and margaritas so you know that this is where I’ll be all the time. I know you’re looking for good authentic tacos in Houston so definitely check them out.

📍 has the best fried chicken in Houston that I’ve had so far! I’ve tried a few other places that I posted on the clock app but nothing compares to this! THEY GIVE YOU WHOLE WINGS!! These aren’t baby wings either. The way I messed this chicken up should really be studied because it didn’t stand a chance. We had to wait about 20-30 cause they’re always dropping the chicken fresh. I love that. I even saw they have a $2.99 special and soul food on the weekend.

📍 is the newest lounge and restaurant in Houston and it just made its way to the top of my favorites list. This place is not only a vibe but the food is good. One thing that’s been important to me lately is a spot where the music isn’t too loud but I can still listen and talk with my friends. Definitely found that here. But y’all know I came for the food. I can honestly say I didn’t have one bad thing. The salmon was my favorite which I was very surprised by. It was so flavorful and not dry at all. Now I’m not a huge steak person but that steak was bussin. Seasoned and juicy… 10/10. The hookah was strong and the flavor was there.
They even have flights and let me say they didn’t hold back on the liquor. You know I love when my drink is strong. The tequila flight was my favorite cause I’m a tequila girlie but the mimosa one was good as well. I made it in time for brunch to try the shrimp and grits and let me say they have some of y’all’s favorite restaurants beat! I took them home and reheated them the next day and it still slapped. Look it’s the weekend so I’ll meet you at tomorrow okay? Be ready to pass me the hookah
