Nouchka Huijg, known as Nouch, is a Dutch graphic artist, illustrator, and street artist based in Amsterdam. She started in editorial and commercial illustration before shifting to large-scale murals and public art.
Her work is defined by black-and-white “Airheads” - wide-eyed, balloon-headed characters that blend whimsy with a darker edge. Through them she explores social themes and environmental consciousness. She often uses eco-friendly materials like ink made from recycled soot and air-purifying paint.
