The last few years and especially the last couple days of has weighed heavily on my heart. In this day and age we should not have to fight for the right to be slaughtered in the streets like animals by a force that's supposed to protect us. It feels extremely weird focusing on cosplay or creative outlets right now when all of this is hanging over my head like a rain cloud. Will my friends be next? Will my parents or family be next? Will I be next?
It's very important that I address this in a post and not just in a story because I wanna weed out people who truly care and people who would rather click away and willfully ignore the situation. Good people don't have to announce that they're good people. A good person will attract other good people. A person who is more worried about their follower count or losing sponsorships than speaking about the lives of innocent citizens is not a good person, and I dont want those people in my audience. I won't beg anyone to speak up about it; by now if you haven't actively done anything, your silence has already spoken volumes more about your character than your sound ever will.
Stop glorifying everyone else for the same reason you demonize us. Stop silencing us when we demand to be heard. Stop killing us. We've been tired.
