I was enjoying climbing in the comfortable Catch and softer Stay, which still my favorite for indoor climbing, so I hadn’t tried the Torques so decided to give the Torque LV a try…
I was sport climbing a lot at the time so first I tried them on routes, not only were they great on small edges and precise when toeing into small pockets or divots but also comfortable for longer lines.
When I took them bouldering, they performed even better! The heel is so locked in it never feels like it waivers, took hooks comfortable and easy. The rubber is stiff enough to trust a tiny crystal for a foothold but not so stiff that it hard on the slab section to some boulder finishes.
Torque my new favorite climbing shoe!

In the first pic I’m working one of the gems of the area Astral Traveler and second is Isamer sending it and the third is Damon on a warm up with some exposure. This amazing talus field was discovered 3yrs ago by Damon and has been developing it since. To me one of the best alpine granite I’ve had the pleasure to climb.

These feel great on small edges, duel-tex holds and perfect when having to pull with your toe. Probably my favorite indoor shoe right now. These are so light weight and comfortable they’re are a perfect all day shoe. They have a sock like feel around the ankle that also sucks the foot in and feel very secure when heel hooking.
