The "Venere" Renaissance Lady Veil is a dreamy headpiece made of faux pearls, entirely handmade and inspired by the hairstyles of the Renaissance period. I personnaly don't know how to do my hair properly, as you well know, but I still like how it turned out on my (very) long hair. 🇬🇧 We were all alone, surrounded by nature taking over the ruins of the abbey... A very special memory as we had the place all to ourselves to create the most melancholic portraits. Aulne Abbey is another one of these magical places where you want to go back again and again. Hopefully, I'll get to see this one in autumn someday!
It was on a pretty cold spring day, the wind was playing with both my hair and my gown, making things a little more chilly but really adding to the whole romantic atmosphere. I chose a long, yet pretty light black gown for this one, added a light crinoline underneath and a waist corset over it as an accessory. Went for a (quite messy) half-up half-down hairstyle to complete the whole romantic goth princess look and that was it! ✨

🇫🇷 Nous étions seuls, entourés par la nature qui recouvrait peu à peu les murs en ruines de l'abbaye... Un souvenir magique et empreint de nostalgie, où nous avions l'endroit pour nous deux pour créer de doux portraits plein de mélancolie. L'Abbaye d'Aulne est un de ces endroits merveilleux où l'on a envie de retourner encore et encore. Un jour, j'aurai peut-être la chance de la voir en automne!
Ce jour-là était un jour de printemps assez frais, le vent jouait avec mes cheveux et ma robe, refroidissant pas mal la température mais rendant l'atmosphère d'autant plus romantique. J'ai choisi un robe longue assez légère, j'ai ajouté une petite crinoline dessous et un serre-taille par dessus en guise d'accessoire. J'ai fait mon chignon half-up half down signature pour compléter le look et le tour était joué! ✨

🇬🇧 New series of portraits in another abbey in ruins! The atmosphere was truly magical, as the soft wind was brushing hair, skin and leaves around us and as the sun was slowly going down in the sky, creating light & shadows plays on the old walls... And I just love frolicking in old abbeys with my long black Shadow Princess gowns 😍
Beauport Abbey is one of the most beautiful abbeys we've seen so far, very well taken care of, and I'd love to go back in autumn someday as I think the atmosphere would be incredible too! These were actually taken at the end of last summer, at the end of the day, and I think it definitely feels like the end and the beginning of something... ✨

🇫🇷 Nouvelle série de portrait dans une autre abbaye en ruines! L'atmosphère était magique, les caresses du vent sur notre peau, nos cheveux, les feuilles frémissaient autour de nous, tandis que le soleil poursuivait sa descente dans le ciel, créant des jeux d'ombre et de lumière sur les vieux murs de l'abbaye... Et j'aime juste beaucoup trop me promener dans les abbayes avec mes grandes robes noires de Princesse de l'Ombre 😍
L'Abbaye de Beauport fait partie des plus belles abbayes que nous avons visitées, très bien entretenue. J'aimerais beaucoup y retourner en automne, je pense que l'atmosphère doit être tout aussi incroyable! Ces photos ont été prises à la fin de l'été dernier, en fin de journée... Et je trouve qu'on sent vraiment que c'est à la fois la fin et le commencement de quelque chose... ✨

Deep black velvet, beautiful corset with off shoulder puff sleeves, lacing in the back... I feel like a vampire princess from a gothic story when I wear it ✨

🇫🇷 Pendant ce shooting j'étais tellement congelée mais heureuse! J’étais bien contente de porter cette longue robe en velours noir, au moins elle me tenait plus chaud que d'autres. Je l’ai fait faire sur mesure chez, et elle est absolument sublime. Velours noir profond, superbe corset avec des manches ballons, laçage dans le dos... Tout pour me plaire 🖤

A very romantic setting for a very romantic outfit. I loved how my black dress contrasted with the white stone arouned me, especially with this gigantic cathedral train!

A few memories of our civil wedding back in August, in Auvergne, where we met so many years ago - it was a more intimate event than the big wedding in October but a great moment too 🖤
This full black cathedral is made of volcanic stone called "pierre de Volvic", and that's the cathedral I grew up with! No wonder I like black so much 🤭
When I was little, I thought all cathedrals were black because of this one! If you want to look it up, it's called "Notre Dame de l'Assomption" in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
I love the mood of these photos by my friend and talented photographer, she really nailed the "intimate" but majestic vibe of this place and moment, don't you think? ✨

🇬🇧 We visited the ruins of Villers Abbey a while ago and I never got to post the portraits we took there! I think it's the biggest abbey in ruins we've visited so far, it was very impressive and I highly recommend ✨
It was a very warm day and I we were on our way to Brussels, so my outfit is quite simple but hopefully we'll go back someday with a more dramatic outfit 😇 in the meantime, I was happy to keep my x bag for these ones too because I LOVE IT and it was pretty casual anyway sooo... 🤭

🇫🇷 On a visité les vestiges de L'Abbaye de Villers il y'a quelques temps et je n'avais jamais posté les quelques portraits que nous avons faits là-bas! Je pense que nous n'avons pas visité d'abbaye en ruines aussi imposante que celle-ci, c'était impressionnant et je recommande ✨
Il faisait très chaud ce jour-là, et on était en route pour Bruxelles donc ma tenue était plutôt simple, mais j'espère y retourner un jour avec une tenue plus dramatique 😇 en attendant, j'étais plutôt contente de garder mon sac x pour ces photos parce que je l'adore et que c'était plutôt casual 🤭

It's the "Mourningstar Daae Bridal Gown" from and it's one of the most romantic gowns in my collection, if not the most romantic. OK, besides my wedding gown, but still, could have made a wonderful wedding gown too! I actually commented on their post introducing the same model in white as a wedding gown a while back and begged them for a black version... and well, I am a lucky princess now ✨

C'est la "Mourningstar Daae Bridal Gown" signée, et c'est une des robes les plus romantiques de ma collection, si ce n'est la plus romantique. Bon, après ma robe de mariée, mais elle aurait pu faire une superbe robe de mariée également! J'ai d'ailleurs laissé un commentaire sous le post qu'ils avaient fait pour la version blanche (présentée comme une robe de mariée) il y a quelques temps pour les supplier d'en faire une version noire... et voilà que je suis une princesse bien chanceuse ✨

We'd been together for 14 years so this wedding wasn't a new start for us, but rather our way to celebrate of our love with all our loved ones in the same dreamy place 🖤
We wanted a fall wedding with a touch of magic that would truly feel like us... An old abbay showing the marks of time, fall colours in all the flowers and accessories, old wood and romantic candles, and of course touches of black here and there because we do love things dark...
