Last February, I initially planned to open only a nail salon, as there were no options in Pala. I had to travel to Kochi myself to get my nails done. But God had a different plan for me. A few weeks later, my vision expanded into a larger concept. For years, it was just me and my small salon, which was easy to manage, but the idea of scaling up brought both joy and stress. While my parents have supported me financially, I had no idea where to begin. I reached out to several salon owners for help with finding experienced staff and the necessary items needed, but most of them showed no interest in assisting. Once again, God’s guidance was evident. From finding my first team members to having staff approach me, everything fell into place beautifully.
The past few months have been filled with stress and tension as I strived to perfect every detail. Since my theme was pink, the challenges were even greater. As a newcomer to this highly competitive field, every day was a learning experience. I had my mood board set up on Pinterest in 2020, and it was my father who introduced me to interior designer Tijo (owner of ). That was one of the best decisions I made. From start to finish, Tijo and his team were incredibly professional and approachable, addressing every concern and helping bring my vision to life. I’m forever grateful for their support, especially during the many challenges we faced.
