Joybuy has more than snacks - they’ve got a wide range of toys too!

Joybuy stock all the items in their own warehouse and handle the packaging and delivery themselves, so everything arrives fast and well packed.

Here are a few good gift ideas we picked:

Mario Racing Wheel & Mario Kart 8 – We’re quite strict with game-time limits, so a game they can play together, that’s fun but not addictive, makes a great present for family and friends.

Casdon Ultimate Styling Case – Every little girl’s dream hair set, with a light-up mirror, hair hands, clips, and curlers. Faye loves trying new styles with her fringe!

Spirograph – A childhood classic. You can mix and match different wheels to create amazing patterns - creative, screen-free, and so satisfying.

Whether it’s for festivities, birthdays, or just cravings, Joybuy has something for everyone ✨

Too fast. Too busy. Too many things happened.

If I didn’t look back at the photos, I wouldn’t remember half of it. 😳

Our brains naturally hold on to negative memories — it’s a protection mechanism, helping us avoid getting hurt again. But at the same time, the brain doesn’t prioritise joyful moments in the same way. That’s why capturing moments matters: so we can remember all the good that happened too. 🧠

My favourite quote of the year is from Jimmy Carr (also my favourite comedian) - Joy is: current situation minus expectations.

It’s a lifetime practice.

Pic 4: plums from garden, the best I've tried, super sweet and juicy

It’s been an incredibly busy year at work, and I’m so grateful to every client who trusted me and collaborated with me on freelance projects and UGC throughout the year. I also truly appreciate all the opportunities from so many amazing brands - thank you for believing in my work. Here’s to more in 2026 ✨
🎄✨ Happy Christmas Eve! December review + full Advent Calendar reveal!

This month’s box didn’t disappoint us at all; in fact, we discovered a couple of new favourites that are now proper cupboard staples.

Garofalo N°19 Stortini soup pasta (each of their pasta has a number!) was an unexpected hit. Faye gave this fun pasta shape a new name — “toe nail pasta” 😂 because of the shape! Despite the nickname, it’s genuinely delicious, cooks quickly, and the shape makes it versatile and great at blending into sauces. We had it in a mascarpone pasta sauce with loads of melted cheese mixed through — they loved it and always ask for more!

Another much-loved treat was La Madeleine by Bonne Maman. Their jam and chocolate spread are already favourites in our house, and this Madeleine continues their high standard — sweet, soft, spongy, with a lovely texture. Everything they make feels really good quality.

So happy to see Double Dutch Double Lemon again too — all their drinks are beautifully balanced and perfectly flavoured.

And of course, Tilda continues to impress me. From Chinese fried rice to biryani and now Mexican-style rice, their “ready in 2 minutes” meals always get the flavour and seasoning spot on. For instant rice, keeping the texture this good is honestly impressive — I’d love to see more from them next year!

👉 Swipe to the end for the full Advent Calendar reveal — a really nice mix of snacks, drinks, and cooking ingredients. Something for everyone.

Big applause to the team on the excellent selection again this year. 💛
Cheering Mr Grumpy up with my childhood snacks, let’s see if he likes them! 😄

AD| I managed to find all of these Asian snacks right here in the UK, all ordered online from. They stock the items in their own warehouse and handle the packaging and delivery themselves, so they are well packed and speedy delivery.

From Japanese and Korean to Chinese favourites, they’ve got a wide selection. Here’s what we tried:

EDO Chocolate Pie (Strawberry) – biscuit-style cake with a soft marshmallow filling, similar to Wagon Wheels 🍓

AJI Pastry (Egg Yolk flavour) – flaky pastry with custard paste and a salty egg yolk centre

Sangaria Melon Soda – sweet, fizzy, and nostalgic, just like Japan’s marble bottle sodas 🍈

Milkis (Melon flavour) – Korean carbonated milk drink, creamy and refreshing

Pepero Almond White Chocolate – crunchy biscuit sticks with nutty white chocolate, dangerously moreish

Toppo Biscuit Sticks (Strawberry Filling) – vanilla biscuit with a perfectly balanced fruity sweetness

Nin Jiom Throat Sweets – viral herbal lozenges from Hong Kong

Yopokki Cheese Cup – chewy rice cakes in a cheesy sauce with a gentle kick of spice, sooo good! 🧀🔥

Does anyone else feel like we’re living in a fast-forwarded zone lately? ⏩ Time is flying so unbelievably fast every single day…

November’s box felt a little calmer and more low-key - maybe they’re saving all the big surprises for the December box?!👀✨

It’s officially Advent Calendar season! 🎄✨Tell me what is your favourite type of calendar?

And stay tuned for the full round-up later this month!

If you fancy one for next year, usually opens pre-orders around October, so keep an eye out. 👀🎁

P.S. Trying to be more organised with Christmas tree this year…
We got our tree early instead of last-minute (like every other year 🤣), and it’s one of the nicest ones we’ve had - gorgeous waxy round needles and that pine fragrance. 🌲💚
❄️ Letting them explore… while staying connected. ⌚️

• 2-way calls + secure messaging (with default phrases for quick messaging)

The X6Play gives exactly what kids need to stay connected safely — nothing unnecessary, just the right features for real-life play and growing independence. 💛✨
A little early gift for Andy - this beautiful 15-inch Folding Chess Set from ♟
He’s recently fallen in love with chess (and draughts!), so this feels like the perfect upgrade for him.

AD| The craftsmanship is stunning. The board is made from rich, hand-polished wood, with neatly carved wooden pieces that feel smooth in the hand. It folds beautifully for storage and looks gorgeous displayed too, a classic that feels built to last.

And fun fact… did you know you can now learn chess on the Duolingo app? 😄 Andy’s been mastering his skills there!

If you’re thinking of gifting something meaningful, timeless and screen-free this year, worth having a look at.
Their Black Friday sale ends tomorrow, so it’s a good time to grab one!
⏰✨ The Times Frame is WAY more than a clock.

AD| Swipe 👉 to see it in action.

From sci-fi, retro game vibes, cute, arty, modern and elegant designs, this display switches styles like a mood board.

🎛 Fully customisable:
time, weather, stocks, social stats, countdowns - you can tailor them all.

🎨 Create your own stop motion:
draw pixel art, make stop-motion animations, and show them off.

🏆 Scoring & task alarms:
A cute reminder to your daily tasks.

💡 Side lighting that reacts to sound:
the volume sensor mode is super cool!

🌟 Endless pixel art:
browse thousands of community-made designs.

It’s not just a time frame - it’s your art gallery, productivity buddy & aesthetic upgrade in one.
Very rare selfies of me and my husband 😄 but this moment deserved it!

AD| We’re both wearing our customised hoodies from, and honestly… the quality is top-notch. Thick, soft, super warm and sooooo comfy.

What makes them extra special is the print. I scanned the kids’ drawings, cut them out in Photoshop and turned them into a few graphics:
“daddy ❤️ Faye”
“I love you daddy”
“I love you”
…plus lots of hearts and cute little doodles from both Andy and Faye.
Wearing their artwork feels like wearing a hug.

And I love that hubby is happy to wear them. There’s something truly beautiful about a man who shows affection openly — real strength isn’t just in protection, but in tenderness, connection, and the confidence to love loudly.

Creating these hoodies was such a meaningful project, and brought it to life perfectly.
And if you don’t fancy customising your own, also has loads of cheeky, nostalgic and super stylish prints to choose from. 💛
