Niklas Wigländer (geb. 1998) präsentiert in seiner ersten Einzelausstellung eine Auswahl seiner verschiedenen Schaffensphasen. Neben Werken aus der Reihe,,wasted food‘‘, sowie anderen prägenden Projekten, ist ein Nebenraum der Serie,,needed water‘‘ gewidmet, die mehrere Videoinstallationen beinhaltet und erstmals ausgestellt wird.
Highlight der Ausstellung sind drei großformatige Fotografien (unter anderen das titelgebende Werk,,masquerade‘‘), welche die aktuelle Corona Pandemie behandeln.
Niklas Wigländer setzt sich mit verschiedenen Medien auseinander, bleibt aber immer seiner expressionistischen Handschrift und persönlichen Philosophie treu.
