So if I can be that hand for someone else, I will.
I promise, if you ever feel low, if life ever feels heavy, come to me.
I may not solve everything, but I will remind you of your strength.
I will motivate you, lift you up in whatever way I can and genuinely be happy in your happiness.

All my life, I had lived in a house full of people, surrounded by noise, presence, and familiarity.
Then came that first night, just me and my two little boys in a home that suddenly felt too quiet.
I felt a void.
A vacuum in my gut.
My chest felt hollow.
I was scared.
I was traumatized.
I had no idea what tomorrow would look like.
I don’t even remember how I woke up the next morning.
I don’t know whether I was nervous, terrified or trying to gather the courage to keep going.
I had to learn how to be a single parent.
I had to become a mother I had never been before.
I had to become an entirely new person.
And I know this is deep, but I am sure only a single parent will truly understand it:
You are a very different mother when you are married &
You become a completely different mother when you become a single parent.
I never knew I had this kind of courage in me.
I fell countless times, but I kept getting up every single time.
I am not proud of the pain that made me a single parent, but
I am grateful for what it taught me.
It gave me self worth, patience and brought me closer to my childhood, my God, and my children.

I still remember that day and I’m sure Anuch remembers it too.
The day we first started talking about such little things, not knowing where those conversations would take us. On the surface, it could have looked like two people talking because of a common connection. Just two people being acquaintances.But somewhere deep down, I think both of us knew.
We were not talking just for the sake of talking.
There was something different. Something we could not explain.
At that point in my life, I was a single mother of two boys, and I chose to tell him that right in the beginning. I did not want confusion. I did not want half truths. I was prepared for rejection. Because I knew that not everyone understands a woman who comes with a story, with scars, with responsibilities, with children she loves more than herself.
But somewhere inside me, I don’t know why, I had this strange feeling that this connection was going to become something special.
I still cannot explain it.
As we kept talking about little things, about life, about what we loved, about our journeys, I slowly found something in Anuch that I had not felt in a long time…

There is a greater pattern beyond human understanding. A pattern through which the world evolves, people evolve, and our souls evolve. For some, realization comes early. This does not mean we stop working hard. Karma is necessary. Action is necessary. This is why we are born as humans. Krishna Himself teaches us this in the Bhagavad Gita, fulfill your duty, but do not become attached to the fruits of your actions.
