Until one of my doctors casually said,
“Do you guys want to study there? If you guys do, I’ll help arrange the MOU.”
And somehow, that small conversation stayed in my heart.
I hoped for it quietly, but after that… there was no news at all.
Until two years later, life suddenly brought me back to that moment that i got the scholarship for an exchange program there.
Funny how some prayers take time before they finally find their way back to us ✨
This past few weeks are some of the most thrilling moments in my life. Words cannot explain how stressed out I was to survive and balance my medical studies and Abang None at the same time.
It was also a month full of weekly tests: Mid Blok, End Blok, Skills Lab, OSCE, and SOCA. All of them are one of the most hardest tests in medical school, and if you failed, you need to retake the test next year, which is something I want to avoid.
This pushed me to take a lot of permissions for my Abnon quarantine! I missed out on a lot of moments, but that’s what I needed to sacrifice, including the title as None Jakarta Utara, in order to not fail my tests.
But now, I’m here, and I managed to pass all of my tests, SOCA, OSCE, and got the title as “None Favorit Sosial Media”!

Yang awal mulanya bikin project ini cuman sekedar pengen spread Indonesia’s culture di sosial media, tapi ternyata Tuhan punya rencana dan hadiah lain buat aku dan perajut lain!
Seneng karena dalam waktu singkat, bisa dikenal sama banyak orangnya khususnya crocheters! Bahkan banyak banget yang DM kalau mereka juga pingin ikutan project ini🥵 I guess that is a sign kalau Helai Nusantara harus terus berkarya!
Walaupun aku sebagai pemerkasa Helai Nusantara, tapi aku berterima kasih sama perajut lain yang pengen bergabung dalam project aku! I hope kedepannya Helai Nusantara bisa jadi platform untuk crocheters show their abilities for Indonesia!
