Nato a Lecco l’, Nicola Ripamonti ha iniziato canoa proprio qui al Canottieri Lecco a 8 anni. Dopo gli esordi nel canottaggio, trova presto nella canoa la sua strada e nel 2011 entra nel Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Gialle.
In carriera conquista oltre 40 ori ai Campionati Italiani, numerosi podi internazionali, un titolo europeo nel K4 1000 metri, il 6º posto alle Olimpiadi di Rio 2016 (K2 1000 m.), il titolo di Campione del Mediterraneo e un 2º posto in Coppa del Mondo.
Nel 2024 chiude la carriera agonistica e inizia subito a collaborare con il settore giovanile delle Fiamme Gialle, distinguendosi per empatia e professionalità. Dopo un anno decide di tornare a casa, per guidare i ragazzi della nostra sezione agonistica.
