Clap de fin sur cette saison 2025… Forcément déçu de terminer comme ça à la maison mais c’est la course.
Globalement j’espérais mieux de cette saison mais on réalise malgré tout 2 podiums, 1 victoire et 1 pole position pour ma première dans la catégorie. Cinq manches GT4 France et une à Zandvoort en GT4 European Series qui m’auront permis de progresser et de prendre une expérience précieuse pour la suite.

« Faute de proposition intéressante pour rouler en rallye, j’ai décidé de revenir au circuit pour cette saison 2025 en participant au Championnat de France FFSA GT et à la SRO GT Académie. La saison a super bien débuté avec une pole position à Nogaro. Grâce à une victoire lors de la dernière course à Magny-Cours, mon équipier Rudy Servol et moi sommes toujours en lice pour la couronne nationale, même si nous savons que les chances sont minces. De mon côté, je suis aussi l’un des candidats à la victoire dans la SRO GT Académie. Je vous avoue que j’aurais aimé être un peu plus haut dans le classement dans les deux compétitions, mais le niveau est vraiment très relevé. Même si j’avais roulé sur les circuits que nous avons visité, c’était il y a longtemps et avec une voiture nettement moins performante que cette Ginetta. À part à Nogaro, où j’avais eu l’occasion de tester auparavant, j’ai ressenti un certain manque d’expérience. C’est surtout lors des qualifications, quand il faut exploiter les pneus neufs, que je n’arrivais pas à être aussi performant que ce que j’aurais voulu. Je me suis souvent senti plus à l’aise à partir de la première course. Même si un pilote aimerait toujours avoir plus de temps de roulage, j’ai beaucoup aimé ce championnat qui est très bien organisé, dont le niveau est relevé et qui bénéficie d’une belle couverture, notamment en télévision et via YouTube. Le rallye et le circuit sont deux disciplines bien différentes, mais je ne regrette pas mon retour à mes premières amours. Je me suis bien amusé cette saison et si je peux en plus remporter l’Académie et viser un volant en GT World Challenge Europe en 2026, ce sera encore mieux. »

Nous terminons 5èmes de la Course 1 samedi. Pas satisfaits du résultat, nous avons travaillé avec l’équipe afin de trouver des solutions pour le lendemain.
En Course 2 dimanche, Rudy a fait un travail parfait en creusant l’écart lors de son relais et j’ai pu maintenir notre avance pour aller chercher la victoire 🥇

En plus d’être l’un des 4 pilotes qui officiaient sur les 24h, j’ai également été le safety car driver pour les courses de GT4 European Series ainsi que lors de la seconde course du GT2 European Series. Alors que je me suis toujours juré ne jamais être copilote en rallye (😆), je l’ai été pour la première course du McLaren Trophy Europe suite à une demande de dernière minute.
J’ai également pu prendre le volant de la Lead Car pour un tour de démonstration à 15 min du départ des 24h avec Ethan à ma droite 😄
Le week-end fut bien rempli. C’est une vraie responsabilité. Cette épreuve est impressionnante. Les infrastructures mises en place par les équipes et les constructeurs, l’atmosphère incroyable avec les 128 000 spectateurs présents tout au long du week-end, c’est marquant!

Je serai l’un des pilotes de la Safety Car sur les 24h de Spa au volant de la Maserati MC20 GT2 Stradale.
Je piloterai également cette dernière sur les 2 courses du GT4 European Series.
Parmi les pilotes avec qui je partagerai la Safety Car, je retrouverai un autre ex-pilote de rallye, Marc Duez!
Après la casse d’une jante nous obligeant à abandonner en course 1, nous avons eu plus de réussite Dimanche avec une très belle deuxième course, terminée en 3ème position après une grosse remontée de Rudy!
(Seconds au moment du podium mais une pénalité infligée à un autre équipage a été retirée ce qui fait que nous reculons d’une position).
