*Olivia was born with Tuberous Sclerosis—a rare condition that caused seizures and challenges most of us can’t imagine. At one point, she was having up to 50 seizures a day. At 18 months, she underwent brain surgery, and her family were told they might never hear her speak or see her walk.
But Olivia had other plans.
She said her first words—“dada”—and kept surprising everyone. She crawled. She walked. She led. Her favorite things? Butterflies, bubbles, firetrucks—and shouting “I did it!” every time she accomplished something new. No matter what, she smiled through it all.
In September 2024, she started kindergarten and was called the classroom leader. She had gone almost two years seizure-free.
On October 22nd, we lost Olivia to complications in her sleep. She was one week away from turning six.
