In 2021 me and the boys were all fanatical about bench, but everyone in their own corner. So we said: let’s make it a competition. Two months. Baseline test on day one, match day at the end.
Everyone went insane on chest, crazy programs, benching like 4 times a week. Nobody wanted to be the loser, so nobody half-assed it. Crazy accountability.
On match day we all hit PRs we didn’t know we had. A day none of us are forgetting.
If you and your boys are training anyway. turn it into a tournament. You’ll all level up at the same time and have a fun experience.
In 2023 I went to Vietnam with my friends. Nothing comes close to actually being there with the boys. But watching it back together in a cinema 20 months later, that gave us a whole new night around something we’d already lived.
I know they say you gotta live in the moment, and you do. But I’ve been filming my life for as long as I can remember. The big trips, the random nights, the boring sessions that turn out to be the funniest. Most of it I never edit (I’m trying now). But every once in a while I cut it into something, watch it together, and it’s like getting the whole experience again.
Seeing the boys lose it at moments we’d half forgotten was so beautiful. The cinema turned something already fun into something we’ll never forget.
If you’re going on a boys trip soon: make someone responsible for filming. Save the dumb clips. Edit it later. And watch it on a big screen with the people you were there with.
You’ll thank yourself in 10 years.
A traditional tattoo, hand-tapped, deep in the jungle. Sitting on the wooden floor of his hut, dogs and chickens walking past, no electricity, no machine, no sterile room. Just him and a technique passed down for thousands of years.
The Mentawai call it titi and it’s one of the oldest tattoo traditions in the world, going back over 3,000 years. The ink is made from soot of burnt coconut shells mixed with sugarcane juice. Traditionally a sharpened point made from wood or animal bone, mounted on a stick and tapped into the skin.
Every Mentawai gets tattooed throughout their life, with different designs marking different stages. It’s part of their belief system, “Arat Sabulunga” living in harmony with nature and the spirits of the jungle. The patterns flow like waves, plants, animal tracks. Everything mirrors the world around them.
Mine stands for living in harmony and balance with nature, their whole way of life.
A good one to carry. This is what saying “yes” looks like:)

Recently I did a full roundtrip of Bali with, something we’d been talking about for the last two years, and we finally did it! Five days, two bikes, no plan. Driving around the island with our bikes felt like pure freedom, because a dirtbike doesn’t follow roads. You go up a mountain because you can, drive on the beach, stop at a warung because a guy waves you over. Literally anywhere. Adventure stops being something you book and starts coming to you.
We kept saying it felt like a videogame because so much crazy shit was happening. And when you’re on the bike that much, you start thinking. At some point, this thought came to me:
Life basically IS a videogame, and you should treat it like one.
In a game, you build a character. To become a good one, you don’t only level up one stat. If you’re all strength and have no charisma, you can’t talk to anyone. If you’re all skill and no health, you break. The good players spread their points, body, mind, money, charisma, the spiritual side, the way you read a room. That’s what makes a good character.
And once you have a good character, the game becomes more fun… You can explore the map, do the cool missions and get the good items.
A lot of people only train the one stat that gets them their money. That’s how you can turn into an NPC. Stuck on one level because there’s no other dimension to the character. Yes, money is good and fun. But we all know rich losers right?
And above everything: freedom. You can build the best character in the world, but if you’re locked into someone else’s storyline, someone else’s schedule, someone else’s definition of a good life, you’re still playing the demo. Nobody hands you the freedom. You have to build it yourself.
Just a thought from the bike. Vlog on youtube soon:).
Driving around the island on my kawasaki with 80s bangers on, that’s my freedom.
Wouldn’t want to spend my 24th bday any other way this year:)
Last week I stayed with a family of the mentawai tribe deep in the jungle for 5 days, brazy experience. It was time for another adventure, out of the comfort zone: going solo, no electricity, no connection, sleeping on the floor and only 1 person who spoke english.
I tried a lot of new things, had a lot of new experiences and I picked up some new perspective on life from these guys that’s gonna stick with me:).
Full story coming soon on my youtube, but here are some fragments from my trip.
3.8 km swim, 180 km bike and a 42.2 km run just to hear these words.
What started as a drunk idea at a party turned into five months of intense training. Early mornings, long rides, mental dips, physical lows and a crazy adventure.
It cost me a lot. But what I gained was worth much more: discipline, confidence, adventure and an experience I’ll never forget.
And beyond that, we raised money for, something that means a lot to me personally.
To everyone who supported me, helped me, messaged me, or simply followed the journey: thank you!
Klagenfurt, you were crazy.
On to the next adventure 👀
