Als ich Nevens Friseur- & Barbiersalon das erste Mal betreten habe, wusste ich sofort, dass sich die Stimmung dieses Ortes auf der Leinwand sehr gut machen würde. So habe ich versucht, das Licht, die Atmosphäre und die Begegnungen einzufangen – und die fast filmische Szene, die diesen Ort prägt, auf Leinwand zu bringen.
Besonders das Lebensgefühl dieses Salons habe ich versucht zu vermitteln. Genau darin liegt für mich der Reiz des Malens: Orte in München sichtbar zu machen, die ein besonderes Erlebnis bieten und im Gedächtnis bleiben.
