I like to store all of my accessories in separate small boxes so I can easily bring them to the table when it’s time to dress a doll. As an avid thrifter and miniature forager, this organization method works best for me. Honestly, digging through accessories is incredibly therapeutic.
I use two Moppe drawers for shoes, separated by men’s and women’s styles, then organized further by color or design. Jewelry and purses are stored in a Spinnrock compartment box to keep everything visible and easy to grab. Socks, stockings, hats, and lingerie are housed in decorative photo boxes.
Everything is labeled and stored on my shelf for easy access, which also makes cleanup quick and simple when it’s time to put everything back.
Organization keeps the chaos down and the creativity flowing.

This week I’m sharing how I organize my fashion dolls, clothing, and accessories. I store all of my dolls nude inside drawers of the 1st and 3rd Shelves, which helps keep them mostly dust-free and easy to maintain. Each doll line has its own dedicated drawer: Poppy Parker, NuFace, Barbie, and Ken/Homme.
Extra bodies and hands are stored in separate containers on the shelf so everything stays easy to find and ready for the next creative setup.

Let’s get into these shelves…
Along one wall, I have three large shelving units with built-in drawers. They hold various storage boxes filled with clothing, jewelry, and larger or more delicate décor miniatures. Everything is neatly labeled because if I can’t find it, it doesn’t exist creatively 😅
Shelves one and three hold my dolls, separated by line: Poppy Parker, NuFace, Barbie, and Ken/Homme, so everyone has a proper home. The middle shelf drawers store pillows, rugs, larger lighting pieces, and photography equipment.
By the window, a floating shelf holds my zines and magazines featuring my work, which honestly feels like keeping little chapters of my creative journey on display.
And lastly, my Kallax shelf houses my Vitra miniature chair collection along with smaller miniature shelving pieces.
I love mixing décor into my storage so it blends into our home and feels intentional, not just like a workspace, but a lived-in creative environment.

My studio is an open-concept space built around function and flow. I work with two tables, a rolling cart, four shelves, and floating shelves, all anchored by two big windows at the back that give me the light I need.
The small table is my everything-in-progress zone: redressing dolls, staging furniture, and holding accessories while a diorama comes together. The cart keeps supplies, new arrivals, and repeat-use dolls or larger pieces close at hand so I’m not breaking rhythm mid-create.
By the windows is my shooting table, set at pub height so I can work from a stool and take some pressure off my knees and back (because listen… longevity matters 😅). It’s big enough for two mid-size dioramas or one large build, which gives me flexibility without clutter.
I keep the furniture intentionally minimal since this is a shared space with my Husband, divided by a shelf. And the moment you walk up the stairs? You’re already in the studio, no transition, just straight into the work so it needs to be organized.
