再びインドに滞在します。
(今回は西ベンガル州のみの滞在予定)
冬に続いて、こんなわがままを言い始め、
今回も仕事や撮影、日本での生活の調整を
していただいた周りの方々に感謝しながら、
いただけた時間を大切に過ごしたいと思っています。
夏のインドは初めて。
まだ知らない慣れない季節の中で、
どんな瞬間に出会えるのか楽しみと不安、
どちらも抱えたまま今を過ごしています。
気付けば自分でも驚くほどすんなりと
インドで過ごす時間を選ぶようになりました。
数年前の自分には憧れはあっても、
現実としては想像もできなかったこと。
とにかく今は、ただシンプルに、
居たい場所にいて、知りたいことに触れて、
撮りたいもの、同時に自分が探していることに
素直に向き合い続けてみたいと思います。
なかなか写真や旅の話が前のように
シェアできなくなっていますが、
今はとにかく探していることに向き合い、
悩みの過程や見つけたことなどは少しづつ
noteに書き留めていきたいと思いますので、
引き続きよろしくお願いいたします。

マハクンブメーラで、
わたしは本物のサドゥーに会えると
どこかで信じてしまっていた。
世俗を離れ、静かに修行を重ね、
真理へと歩みを進める人たちに。
けれど、実際に出会ったサドゥーたちは、
見た目はそのような姿をしていながら、
祈りの合間に人々にお金を求めたり、
自分に対して無礼だと感じれば
訪れた人に対して強く怒りをぶつけたりもした。
その光景に戸惑い、
本物とは何だろう。
偽物とは何だろう。
修行をする人々はどうあるべきが正解だと
わたしは思ってしまっていたのだろうと悩んだ。
たった数日では、たくさんの人の波と砂埃の中で
曖昧なまま、はっきりとは掴めなかった。
そしてその少し後、
バウルの歌に出会った。
「boley koey manush ke ki sadhu kora jai？」
人は、言葉や形だけでサドゥーになれるのだろうか。
本当の修行や真理は、外側じゃなくて内側にある。
わたしもまたあの人々の外側だけを見て
何かを決めつけたまま帰ってきてしまったのかもしれない。

インドから戻って、あっという間に1ヶ月が経った。
あの場所で受け取ったものが、
日本での日常の中でぽろぽろと
こぼれ落ちていく感覚がある。
あんなに確かに受け取ったはずなのに、
少しづつ輪郭が曖昧になっていくのが少し怖い。
でも同時に、静かに自分の中に
染み込んでいくことの存在も感じている。
確実に自分の見方や感じ方を変えていくようなもの。
これまでは、帰国すると
失っていくものばかりに目が向いて、
毎年苦しくなってしまっていた。
でも今年は、こぼれていくものだけじゃなくて、
残っているもの、これから育ていきたいものにも
目を向けられている気がする。

対面の半年間の教室は初心者～中級者の方向けで
カメラの使い方や操作など基礎から始まりますが、
オンライン写真教室は
" カメラの使い方はもう分かるけど
自分の思い通りになかなか撮れない "
といった方が対象になるかと思います。
オンラインでは実技の授業ができないからこそ、
ある程度誰でも綺麗な写真が撮れる時代だからこそ、
自分の表現の核となる想いの部分を深めて、
それを表現するための術を学んでいただく
２ヶ月間にできたらと思っております。

朝陽がゆっくりと空を染め始めるその時、
渡り鳥たちが空を舞い始めた。
静かな空に、ただその美しい姿が刻まれ、
ガンジス川で羽を休めた鳥たちは、
やがてまた、どこか遠くへと旅を続ける。
わたしはその様子を川沿いに座り見つめた。
昨夜の賑やかさなど嘘だったかのように、
人々の祈りの声さえもまだ遠いこの時間が
とても美しく、印象に残っている。
最近は清掃活動や汚染処理にも力を入れているそうだが、
強く優しく美しい川が本来の姿を保てるよう、
信仰と環境保護の両立がされたら
本当に素晴らしいことだと思う。

秋の繁忙期に入る前、この少し落ち着いた時期に、
自分の中であらためて写真と向き合い、
誰かと一緒にその時間を共有したいと思い、
久しぶりに１日写真に触れる写真教室を企画しました。
（年内でこのような機会を作れるのは最後になると思います）
写真教室の名前にした
Hridayaはサンスクリット語で
“心臓”や“心の中心”を意味します。
写真を撮るとき、ただ見える景色や
被写体を写すだけでなく、
自分がその瞬間に感じたこと、
心が動いた理由を意識するきっかけになればと
この名前を付けました。
忙しい日常の中で立ち止まるきっかけをつくりたい人。
写真を撮ることで自分をもっと知りたい人。
ただ純粋に「好き」を残しておきたい人。
一緒にカメラを手にとって、
