Picture 1: Get local assistance and spend an afternoon splashing around the natural pools and waterfalls of Rishikesh. We got help from our hotel staff, who chaperoned us in and out of this beautiful waterfall. The serenity and beauty of this hidden gem were unforgettable.
Pictures 2 & 3: We had a delicious lunch ( with a pretty good view) at the Ganga View Cafe and enjoyed an early dinner at the Maharshi cafe. You’ll find many cozy cafes in Rishikesh, and most of them offer incredible food options.
Picture 4: When we reached Rishikesh in the monsoons had already set in. The Ganges was not a bright blue and the rafting options were very limited. The distance we could cover on the raft was really short, and the whole experience felt like it got over even before it started. It was fun while it lasted, though.
Picture 5: The Beatles Ashram was a vibe! We arrived on a hot, sunny morning, but the shady trees, the graffiti on the walls, and the history of the place, which once served as a meditative retreat for hundreds, including ‘The Beatles,’ exuded a calming energy. Everything about this place made the sunny walk totally worth the sweat.

When we started this page six years ago, we couldn't foresee the changes and diverse paths each of us would take. Over the past year, individual projects and travels outside of this page have kept both of us occupied, making it tough to align our timelines.Our travels together have been fewer, and whenever we did, the thought of creating content felt like a daunting task we often preferred to avoid.
But here we are again. Taking on the challenge of juggling schedules, life and travel together amidst the thousand other things we don't always do side by side.
To all 16,000 of you who've stuck with us through it all, thank you. We're sorry for the radio silence. Thank you for choosing to stay with us and not losing hope. In a world where new travel creators emerge every day, your confidence and support mean everything.

Following a night's camping, we joyously partook in the local Butter Holi festival. The event commenced with the grand entry of Someshwar Devta, who arrived on an ornate palanquin. Amidst the vibrant play of Butter Holi, accompanied by lively trumpet and drum beats, everyone reveled.
