Now, I didn’t tell him this, but when he said that, I felt like I could run through a brick wall.
The kid actually listened. It stuck with him. He remembered it.

I tell you this not just to brag on my kid, but as a reminder to everyone that failure is part of the process.
We’re all going to have failures in business, sports, school, health. The list goes on and on.
Everyone fails. Everyone. Constantly.
So why let the fear of failure hold you back? Expect it, embrace it, and learn from it.
I also tell you this to also to remind parents that this applies to parenting as well. We’re going to fail.
But it’s our job to keep trying.
