I’m honestly not consistent with my adenomyosis relief routine. I’ll have days that I don’t want to think about anything and just eat and drink whatever (not good.. I know). On the other hand, I’ll have days that I truly want the best for my body and I’ll look into ways I can help myself feel better (physically). So here’s what I found:
• Lemons are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, which may help calm inflammation in the body. Since adenomyosis involves inflammation in the uterus, supporting your body’s natural balance can make a difference.
• Warm lemon water can stimulate digestion, which helps the body process and eliminate excess estrogen. This matters because adenomyosis symptoms are often estrogen-sensitive.
How to enjoy it: 1 cup warm water + juice of ½ lemon. I also found out (after drinking this) that you should drink (anything) lemon with a straw ‘cause it’s not good for your teeth! So keep that in mind.
Optional luxe upgrades:
• Fresh ginger (I could drink ginger tea any time of day! Love it)
• Turmeric
• A touch of raw honey (personally, not a fan.. but maybe you’ll enjoy it!)
