Couldn’t have written a crazier first chapter
Στο Cannes Film Festival όλα έγιναν μέσα σε έναν πανικό. Άργησαν να ξεκινήσουν να με ετοιμάζουν, το αυτοκίνητο έφτασε ενώ το make-up ήταν ακόμη μισό, αλλά δεν υπήρχε περιθώριο χρόνου — αν έχανα εκείνο το αμάξι, ουσιαστικά θα έχανα και την τελετή γιατί στις Κάννες δεν υπάρχει το “περιμένετε δύο λεπτά, οι λιμουζίνες διαδέχονται η μία την άλλη χωρίς σταματημό, οποτέ έφυγα χωρίς να είμαι έτοιμη με τα σκουλαρίκια στο χέρι κ χωρίς κινητό, οπότε πέρασα όλο το βράδυ completely disconnected από φωτογραφίες, stories μηνύματα και οτιδήποτε άλλο.
Και τελικά ίσως αυτό να έκανε την εμπειρία ακόμη πιο δυνατή. Το opening ceremony ήταν πραγματικά ανατριχιαστικό, επιτέλους ζούσα κάτι που φανταζόμουν χρόνια… Οι παρουσίαση της κριτικης επιτροπης,η βράβευση του Peter Jackson από τον Eliza Wood, η Jane Fonda και τόσοι άλλοι καλεσμένοι.. Κ μετά η πρεμιέρα του The Electric Kiss που με άφησε άφωνη και άκρως συγκινημένη.
Μία από εκείνες τις βραδιές που την έζησα τόσο έντονα
και ήμουν τόσο παρούσα…
