The latter was savoury > sweet, unlike what we were expecting which imo might make a better complement to savoury pancakes ie. cheese instead of Matcha. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the Matcha pancakes in silo which were fluffy soft and sufficiently moist with a mild, subtle hint of earthy & umami note.

You can also choose to pair it with their Matcha Mochi waffle, which we did for a Duo Flavour and the best of both worlds! ๐ฉต๐ Paired it with the Matcha Crumble and Salted Oreo gelato which were a great complement in terms of both colours ๐ and flavours ๐. The Matcha crumble gelato is bittersweet, earthy with crisp, crunchy crumbles embedded within that adds a pleasant textural contrast while the Salted Oreo was one that left me pretty impressed - had initially ordered it mainly #forthegram but flavourwise, it surpassed expectation and was pleasantly enjoyable with a subtle tinge of salty undertone amidst the milk-based gelato - luscious albeit not cloying, doesnโt taste artificial unlike those kids-popular flavours such as bubblegum or cotton candy despite the resemblance in visuals!
Apart from waffles, thereโs also Praffle - basically prata in the shape of a waffle (perhaps the next new trend after croffles? ๐) which is flaky crisp and buttery, thinner but denser than your regular Belgium waffles. A perfect fit for a late night treat given how Delato opens till 12 midnight on Fri & Sat! Paired it their Banana Prata (banana gelato with prata bits) and Peppermint Peanut Chocolate Gelato, with the latter serving bearing a cooling, invigorating and absolutely refreshing flavour that was right up my alley as a mint lover ๐.
