What started off in Paris a few decades ago as a secret gathering is now a beautifully curated and organised event with guests bringing their own picnics and decor which made for stunning aesthetics and elegant ambiance.
We were treated to scrumptious hampers from and sparkles and wine from O’Reillys
Thank you to Sara and the BRISBANE event organisers - the evening felt like a big extended family gathering of chats, laughs, fine foods and live music!
I started the day lacking confidence my brain wasn’t firing properly and I nearly didn’t ride again.
And then the track cleared out in the arvo and I decided to give it another go and started to put the things I learnt with into practice and I quickly found my groove.
Arthur then encouraged me to head to another bigger track with him and I was nervous but he was encouraging!
He was so cute riding ahead and signalling to me which way to go and stopping to tell me when there was a steep bit ahead so I could drop the gears back! I still managed to stall it on a hill 🤣 then I couldn’t get it into neutral to start it. Tried starting with the clutch in but was too tricky for me on the hill so I had to flag down another rider to help me 😝 Arthur was so cute he tracked back and said “are you ok Mum”.
For now he’s not too cool to take his slow Mum for a ride ☺️☺️☺️
