This is the ultimate no-bake cheesecake recipe before for a non-baker like me!
I made mine protein-packed using high-protein Greek yogurt 💪✨
All you need is a few simple ingredients:
🥣 Creamy non-fat Greek yogurt (high-protein works best)
🍓 Freeze-dried strawberries
🍪 Biscoff cookies
Layer everything, refrigerate overnight, and by the next day it turns into a cheesecake-like dessert that’s rich, creamy, and indulgent without the hassle or extra calories 😍
You can customize this healthier no-bake dessert with flavoured Greek yogurt, Oreos or shortbread cookies, bananas, or other freeze-dried fruits. Just make sure to stick with a creamy Greek yogurt for the best texture.
If you’re looking for an easy dessert recipe, a high-protein sweet treat, or a no-bake cheesecake alternative, you have to try this!

I used to think dishes like siu mai were complicated and better left to restaurants. But the more I cook the food I grew up with, the more I realize how simple, practical, and flavour-packed these meals actually are.
These homemade siu mai are:
✔️ simple
✔️ satisfying
✔️ and surprisingly kid-approved
Not perfect. Not overly traditional. Just the kind of food I want my family to grow up with. Save this one if you’ve ever wanted to try making dumplings at home 🤍
Homemade Siu Mai (Simple + Family-Friendly)
Ingredients:
Wonton wrappers (16-18)
2 leaves Napa cabbage, finely chopped
6-7 Raw shrimp, finely chopped
1/2 lbs Ground pork
1 tbsp Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Sesame oil
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1/2 tbsp White pepper
1 tbsp Cornstarch
Splash of water
Green peas (for garnish)
Optional: caviar (because why not ✨)
Instructions:
Prep the wrappers: Trim the corners off the wonton wrappers and gently roll them out to thin slightly.
Make the filling: Finely chop napa cabbage and shrimp.
In a bowl, combine cabbage, shrimp, ground pork, garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, white pepper, cornstarch, and a splash of water.
Mix until paste-like: Stir vigorously until the mixture becomes smooth and sticky — this is key for classic siu mai texture.
Shape the siu mai: Form a loose “C” shape with your hand.
Lay a wrapper over your fingers, spoon in the filling, and gently press down to create the siu mai shape.
Garnish: Top each dumpling with a green pea.
Steam: Line a steamer plate with napa cabbage.
Arrange siu mai on top and steam for 10 minutes, until cooked through and juicy.
Finish::Optional but extra: top with a little caviar and serve warm and don't forget a dipping sauce!

I went the traditional path of hiring a lawyer and while it got the job done, it also meant more time, stress, and cost than I expected. Looking back, I wish I had known about

I took time off because I knew I wouldn’t get this transition back. I rested, travelled, stayed creative, and had a lot of quiet conversations that helped me figure out what I don’t want anymore before deciding what I do.
This year feels different. Less rushed. More intentional.
Less about titles, more about fit.
Depending on why you’re here, I’ll be sharing different parts of this chapter across both spaces:
Lifestyle + life in your 40s →
Work, entrepreneurship & building my new Fractional CMO business →
Welcome to The Year I Bet on Myself!
I’m sharing the good, the practical, and the honest parts. I hope some of this will inspire you in a positive and unexpected way.
Corporate mom, working mom, career advice, entrepreneurship, unemployment, self employment, new beginnings
Nearly half a million of women left the workforce in the US in 2025 and it is not a coincidence nor recklessness.
Listening to that voice does not mean blowing up your life overnight.
For me, it took nearly a full year of realizing that tiny voice in my brain asking me to make a change.
A year of listening.
A year of asking tough questions.
A year of denial.
A year of planning, testing ideas, diversifying my skills, and creating income streams that didn’t rely on one title or one company.
Amplifying the voice doesn’t mean calling it quits without a plan.
It means preparing with intention. This can also be relevant to finding new opportunities within the company you work for.
Here’s what amplifying that voice actually looked like for me:
• getting curious instead of reactive
• exploring work that aligned with who I am now, not who I was a decade ago
• building flexibility before needing freedom
• separating self-worth from pay
• trusting experience over urgency
If you’re feeling that pull right now, don’t silence it. But don’t rush it either.
Listen.
Strengthen your foundation.
And let your next step be intentional, not impulsive.
Does this resonate with you?
This year, I'm betting on myself and love to share my journey with you!
Career advice, women at work, corporate girl, becoming self employed, midlife, 2026 vision board, resolution, new year, new career
It’s a fun weekend project, kid-friendly, budget-friendly, and makes the cutest holiday card. You can also do it for all different seasonal themes!
Save this for later and tag me when you try yours! Can’t wait to see what you create! ❤️
