I use a 4mm nap microfibre roller and a synthetic Dixie Belle brush to apply the primer and paint. In between coats lightly dry sand with 600g sand paper to knock down the rough feeling. You can clean off any dust with a clean damp cloth but I prefer to use a tack cloth.
