8 oz frozen or fresh cranberries
1/4 cup granulated white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup Orange Juice
Orange Zest from 1 orange
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt
2 tablespoons Vital Proteins Collagen
Method👇
-Add the water, orange juice, and sugars to a medium saucepan on high heat and bring to a boil. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
-Add the cranberries, cinnamon, orange zest and salt to the pot and return to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until most of the cranberries have burst. Use a spoon or spatula to mash if you want a smoother finished sauce.
-Remove the pot from heat and whisk in the Collagen.. Let cool completely at room temperature, then transfer to a bowl to chill in the refrigerator. The cranberry sauce will continue to thicken as it cools.
