I've finished reading "The Night Circus" by Erin Morgenstern, I liked it a lot! It brings you in a truly magical atmosphere.

Prima di tutto: ho cambiato la foto del profilo, fatta da me quindi non molro professional ma ditemi se vi piace!
Finalmente sono riuscita a finire di leggere questo libro!!!
Non riesco a leggere molto in questi ultimi tempi, l'università assorbe tutto il tempo disponibile.😂
Ho concluso la trilogia degli Iremonger, più si va avanti più i libri si fanno strani anche se paradossalmente ambientati sempre più in posti reali e "meno strani". Quest'ultimo libro infatti è ambientato a Londra (o Lombra, come la chiamano gli Iremonger).
Come per le foto degli altri due libri - che, se non avete visto, trovate sul mio profilo - dovete leggere il libro per capire perché siano presenti un portacandela, una candela e un centrino!
Vi lascio la trama:
Dopo essersi lasciati alle spalle i resti ancora fumanti di Foulsham, gli Iremonger si sono dispersi per tutta Londra. Hanno bisogno di una nuova casa e sono determinati a trovarla. Strane cose cominciano ad accadere in tutta la città: persone care che spariscono nel nulla, oggetti bizzarri mai visti prima e un’inquietante oscurità che sembra volersi ingoiare la luce del giorno. La Polizia ha spiegato le forze, ma saprà fronteggiare i temuti Iremonger? E quale sarà il ruolo di Clod: ribelle o figliol prodigo? La storia della dinastia Iremonger, edificata sui rifiuti, sta per concludersi.

I'm not able to read a lot during this time, my university occupies all the available time.😂
I finished the Iremonger trilogy, the more you go on, the more strange the books become even if paradoxically they're set more and more in real and "less strange" places. This last book is in fact set in London (or Lungdon, as the Iremongers call it).
As for the photos of the other two books - which, if you haven't seen, you can find on my profile - you have to read the book to understand why there are a candle holder, a candle and a doily!

così come non è normale dare del lei ad un uomo e non farlo, nella stessa situazione, con una donna.
Non è normale che sia normale dare la colpa alla vittima per come fosse vestita, invece di rendersi conto che è il fatto che l'aggressore non sia in grado di trattenersi a non essere normale.
Non è normale che una donna che vive la propria sessualità liberamente sia considerata una puttana.
Non è normale che sia normale tutto questo e tanto altro.

Violence against women occurs in many ways, in all fields. In obvious ways but also in less obvious ways that are perhaps the most scary ones (and disgusting) because they are considered normal things, sometimes unfortunately even by the women themselves.

"Clod è un Iremonger. Vive tra un mare di oggetti gettati via o smarriti che provengono da tutti gli angoli di Londra. E al centro di questo mare c'è una casa. Heap House, un insieme di tetti, torrette, comignoli, parti di case smantellate con i loro misteri, raccolti per tutta la città e fusi in un labirinto vivo di scale, saloni e angoli nascosti. Gli Iremonger hanno una caratteristica: ciascun Iremonger è legato, sin dalla nascita, a un oggetto. Ma Clod Iremonger ha una caratteristica ulteriore: lui può udire i sussurri degli oggetti.
