🇺🇲 I saw this Nidoking as an obvious choice for my Pokédex project, but the card was so difficult to paint... Why? Because of its very dark hues and pronounced foil, which drastically altered the Pokémon's colors. So I tried my best to integrate my partial painting into the existing illustration, while choosing elements that echoed the colors already present on the card.

🇺🇲 The Platinum series won't feature much in this painted Pokédex because, along with Diamond and Pearl, it's one of my least favorites. Nevertheless, some illustrations are worth a look. I chose this Nidorino, which stands out quite well thanks to its size and bright background. Working with so much white color was a real challenge for me.

I'm sharing this illustration again that's particularly close to my heart, and which you all seem to love every time you see it displayed on our booth. Inspired by a photo taken during our tips to Japan, I loved the perspective and all the electrical wires, so characteristic of Japanese cities. I created this illustration on A3 paper using ink, watercolor, and colored pencils. You can see the original currently on display at the in Paris ❤️

🇺🇲 3 years ago, I painted koi carps with acrylic paint on a small vertical canvas, but for the past few months, I've wanted to turn them into a more original format, and with a design more consistent with my Koïyasan illustration (which features many carps).
So, I created a new illustration adapted to a round format (in the idea of a pond) and with a style closer to my other illustrations: black ink, watercolor, and colored pencils.
