“水星” - Mercury -
太陽に最も近く、最も速く回り続ける星、「水星」。
灼熱の環境にありながら、その名に「水」を宿す天体の姿は、過酷な炎と実直に向き合い、静かな美しさを引き出すふたりの手仕事に重なります。
奥泰我さんのガラスは、1300℃を超える熱のなかで生まれます。
ハチミツのように溶けたガラスが垂れないよう常に竿を回し続け、冷え固まる前に最低限の手数で一気に形づくる。

昨日、村井さんの追加の作品も無事に合流し、すべてのピースが揃いました。
なかなかのボリュームで作品が並んだ店内は、とても見応えのある良い空間に仕上がっています。
高度なブローワークによって灼熱から生み出される、奥泰我さんの涼やかなガラス。
自ら調合したチタン釉と磁化粧が炎のなかで描き出す、天体のような村井大介さんの磁器。
透明度も質量も全く異なるふたつの素材が、「水星」というひとつのテーマの元で静かに交差し、美しい対話を生み出しています。
本日は、陶芸家の村井大介さんが在廊してくださいます。
炎に委ねて現れる偶然の景色や、ご自身の制作の背景など、ぜひ直接お話ししながら、ゆっくりと作品の世界に触れてみてください。

静かに扉を閉ざした店内で、これからひとつひとつ丁寧に箱を開き、新しい景色との対面を果たす予定です。
初夏の光をたっぷりと透過する、奥泰我さんの涼やかなガラス。
高度なブローワークから生み出される凛とした佇まいと、なめらかな輪郭を早くこの目で確かめたく、待ち遠しい思いです。
村井大介さんの手による磁器。
ご自身で調合されたチタン釉が炎のなかで描き出すのは、まるで遠い天体の表面を切り取ったかのような、深く複雑な景色です。
「水星」というテーマのもと、これから始まる設営を前に、私たちも胸が高鳴る思いです。
展示会は土曜日の12:00より幕を開けます。
明日も引き続き空間づくりのためお休みをいただき、皆さまをお迎えする準備を静かに整えてまいります。

地元 瀬戸市の市議会議員 新井あゆみさんの
市政報告ランチ会に参加してきました。
みんなでわいわいごはんを食べながら、
新井さんから市政に関する話を聞いたり、
質問や困りごとの相談をしたり、
政治に対して思っていることなどを話し合ったり、
という会で、
参加者の皆さんのいろんな話や思いが聞けて、
よかったです。
新井さんは共産党の市議さんですが、
別に党員の方や支持者ばかりでなく、
僕のような気軽に話を聞いてみたいという人も多くいらっしゃって、
とても話しやすい、オープンな、良い雰囲気の会でした。
一方的に話を聞くというのでなく、
こういう気楽な対話型の会って、
いいですね。
こんなふうに、
政治について、
オープンに、気楽に、フラットに、
地域の人と（議員さんも含めて）対話できる場や関係が、
日常にもっと普通にあるといいんだろうなと思いました。
そうそう。
瀬戸市のゴミ袋はしっかり在庫があるので、
心配する必要はないそうですよー。
安心しました。
なお、今回の会場は、
我が家から車で十分くらいの山の中にある上川養鱒場で、
釣り堀で、まずはみんなで鱒釣りを楽しみ（簡単に釣れます）、
その自分たちで釣ったばかりの鱒を調理してもらった料理を食べたのですが、
塩焼きはもちろん、刺身も食べられますよー！
