Hernan llegó con ella muy deteriorada pero con todas sus partes, lo peor fue controlar el carcoma, termitas, retíranos enchapes y la madera deja ver el recorridos de los xilófagos, si bien no se puede eliminar la cicatriz, hicimos tratamiento preservación.
Estéticamente es de los modelos más antiguos de Singer, aprox 1870, conservamos sus maderas, retiramos mucha grasa y barniz oscuro, lubricamos la máquina, dejamos funcionando el pedal, retocamos el Dorado de la base de fierro para iluminar y la madera al natural sellada con ✨
Estilo Midcentury, en azul de patas sonicas, atreverse al color es mi adoración, siempre agradezco estos trabajos en el que me dejan apostar por un color…. Gracias Alda por este hermoso mueble, heredado de tu papá y por todas las reliquias que tienes en tu casa y que pronto irán entrando al taller … ✨
Estuvo en el sunami de Talcahuano del 2010, por lo que, sus enchapes estaban sueltos y englobados, le faltaban algunas piezas como la caja de hilos. Retiramos los enchapes en su totalidad, integramos algunas faltantes, teñimos nogal y sellamos con ….
Hicimos un poquito (muy puntual) de policromia a la máquina, para homologar el negro y reintegrar la letra “i” de Singer …. ✨
