Safe vs unsafe, do this not that, this one thing will heal xyz, do this for a snatched waist… all of this can be SO CONFUSING if you’re consuming this content because you’re unsure if it’s for you? Why is it safe vs unsafe? Why can’t you do those other movements? Ok easy enough do this one thing, when will I see results? Is this safe for me, how do I know?

The truth is, it’s confusing because it doesn’t show you the whole truth. It’s more in-depth than that and varies person to person!

Truth is, you need to know is how to engage your core properly first. If you don’t know how to do this, you’re unable to strengthen it. Learning how to wrap your deep core and move through each movement and focusing on your breath, managing pressure through each movement. A movement might be great for one person and not optimal for another. Execution is key.

Truth is, we need to work our core in a variety of different ways. In real life, we twist, we turn, we flex our spine, so we should be training that way in the gym.

Truth is, one thing won’t magically heal diastasis, rib flare, “mom pooch” whatever else is marketed! We have to look at a variety of factors, which can be different for each person.

Truth is, exercise selection matters depending on where you at in your recovery. But we also don’t want to stay there. if you’re only doing “safe” deep core exercises and not progressing to more challenging movements, you won’t be making the progress you’re hoping to make.

Truth is, we need to look at the entire system before giving an individualized approach with what’s needed to strengthen/heal.

Truth is, what really matters is:
•how we breathe
•properly engaging the core
•HOW we do each exercise
•managing pressure
•being aware of your own body and if you feel challenged, supported, etc.
•modifying when necessary, progressing when ready
•looking at a full body approach/moving beyond just the core

posting in hopes I can help and show you what *realistic* fat loss looks like and a slow and steady postpartum transformation! It’s not drastic, nothing super crazy. Just slow, small steady changes over time.

I was focused on maintenance up until a few months ago. Started to track my macros over the past few months and took things up a notch! I haven’t tracked in over 10 years 🤯All of the progress I made in each of my postpartum phases has been due to my daily habits and lifestyle.

Because I’m finally not pregnant or newly postpartum,I want to feel like my most athletic and fittest self! I lost some body fat over the past couple of months while still eating well over 2000 cal because I focused on eating and fueling enough in my day to day life.

I feel really good and healthy where I’m at and I was able to do this while still eating a solid amount and not feeling like I’m actually doing anything different. Daily habits and nutrition all pretty the exact same, which is KEY! 🔑

I was averaging 157-159 in the first clipc and now I’m about 145-147 average currently. Lost body fat, built muscle, and most importantly feel so healthy, strong & athletic in my body and during training.

A few takeaways:

1. When you’re NOT chronically in a deficit and you’re actually eating a solid amount of calories, it is way more effortless to be able to lose a bit of body fat easily when you want to take it up a notch.

2. Focus on this being your lifestyle versus the up and downs. I maintain a healthy lifestyle year-round, the habits I do day-to-day never really change.

3. I weigh myself daily because it’s actually the most accurate and it’s better for me Mentally to see the trend over time since you will fluctuate.

4. Tracking your food is the easiest way to make progress in my opinion (for most people). It’s math, no guessing.

5. You can still be making progress without losing a ton of body weight on the scale. Use it as data, not everything.

6. It’s OK to have aesthetic goals and want to feel and look your best. But Alwyas focus on what your body can do, it is most sustainable. Train to be athletic and strong! #postpartumbody #fitnessformoms
I feel like we often forget this part of postpartum, everything takes time! It took almost 10 months of your body changing and growing a baby, nothing will happen right away postpartum. Slow and steady, have patience, even when its hard! 💪🏼 #postpartum #postpartumrecovery #postpartumjourney #postpartumweightloss #postpartumrehab
Absolutely blessed to be able to use my expertise to help women all over the world invest in themselves and become the healthiest, happiest, most confident versions of themselves during every stage of life. Especially helping women have healthier and safer pregnancy and postpartum experiences with proper information and helping squash misinformation of prenatal/postpartum fitness.

We are all about lifestyle changes and focusing on mental health first and foremost, then daily habits, focusing on strength and what your body can do. Aesthetics isn’t a focus but that can become a byproduct of effort and habits.

I share photos not because of how they look, but because my clients are excited to share and you can see their confidence skyrocket 💪🏼

I include the WHY behind the HOW in my teachings, because knowledge is power! I want you to learn why you’re doing what you’re doing so you can do it for life, not just a short period of time. I am constantly improving my own knowledge and expertise to better help serve you ladies in the best way I can. Thank you for letting me guide you! 🥺🥲🤍

First learn about that 360 breath (diaphragmatic breathing) and then move into that deep core connection! So important for so many reasons, learning how to control that TVA, for strengthening purposes, to keep our core and pelvic floor safe during exercise and daily functional movements.

It takes practice and time to get used to it! Keep at it 🙌🏼 #pregnancyfitness #healthypregnancy #fitnessjourney #prenatalfitness #postpartumjourney
