「自由な魂の声」L8ching（雷擎）が本日、新曲「微風微風」をリリースした。レトロなオールド上海風ジャズをまとい、遠距離恋愛の揺れ動く心境を包み込んだ作品となっている。本作は雷擎自身がプロデュースを手がけ、鉄琴や古いトランシーバーの効果音を加えることでノスタルジックな質感を演出。さらに国際的に活躍する日本のサックス奏者・元晴（Motoharu Fukada）を招き、雷擎の自宅での即興ジャムから優雅な旋律が生まれた。雷擎はまた、5月に新作アルバムをリリース予定で、「春のそよ風のように爽やかでシンプルな作品になる」と予告している。
「微風微風」の着想は、中国語の名曲〈玫瑰玫瑰我愛你〉から得られた。楽曲に流れる五声音階の軽やかな甘さを、自身の想像力で再構築し、Les Paul & Mary Fordの1950年代ギターの跳ねるリズム感を融合。しかし描かれるのは、困難な遠距離恋愛の心の揺れだ。「遠距離を経験したことがなかったので、不安と不確実性にとても臆病になった」。海を越えて想いを運ぶ微風を願いながら、心の中では悲劇的な結末を何度も想像してしまう――幻想とブラックユーモアが入り混じった中毒性のある世界観は、リスナーだけでなく甘くも焦燥感を抱える自身をも“洗脳”する。デザイナー鄒昀達によるジャケットは、抽象的な筆致で春の思慕と東京タワーなどの要素を描き、この言葉にしがたい恋の輪郭をやさしく浮かび上がらせている。
アレンジ面では、「微風微風」は夜の上海ジャズのフィルターをかけたようなサウンド。イントロのユーモラスな鉄琴と女性コーラスの発音は、1950年代香港の歌姫・崔萍の抒情的な質感へのオマージュとなっている。サックスの変奏は恋しい人への想いを長い線で描き出す。録音では共同プロデューサー徐振程のアイデアにより、古いトランシーバーを使ってボーカルをre-ampし、蓄音機のような微かな振動感を再現。音響面でも当時の時代感へと回帰した。雷擎は、遠距離恋愛の約束が祖父母の手紙に綴られた愛の誓いを思い起こさせると語る。「乱世の中でただ一つのまなざしを求めるロマンが、この曲の最も深いレトロな源です。あのロマンはもう存在しない気もするから、この曲も自然とレトロに聴こえる」。
本作で最も印象的な音色のひとつが、元晴（Motoharu Fukada）のサックスだ。元晴は日本ジャズ界を代表する存在で、SOIL & "PIMP" SESSIONSの共同創設者。BBC World Wide Award、Jazz Japan Awardを受賞し、五大陸34カ国で演奏してきた。海外ツアーのキャンセルにより滞在先がなくなり、雷擎の家に1週間滞在。毎朝起きては自宅で即興録音を重ねたという。「普段は温厚なFukadaさんが、サックスを持つと武士のように真剣になる。日本トッププレイヤーの精神を見た」と雷擎は語る。元晴も台湾の音楽環境について「90年代の日本を思い出す。自分の音を追求する情熱とエネルギーがあり、まだ商業に侵食されすぎていない」とコメント。デモを聴いた彼は「とてもユーモラスでチャーミングな曲。とても気に入った」と称賛した。
GMA、GIMAで評価された「自由な魂の声」雷擎は、2024年に《南洋探險隊》でフィリピンの兄妹ユニットYsanygoと共作した〈Pulso〉が国際的な賞にノミネートされ、文化の境界を越えた活動を続けている。新作アルバムは5月発売予定。これまでの広範な文化探求に比べ、よりシンプルで素朴な原点回帰の作品になるという。「聴いた人が“家の味”を思い出せたら嬉しい」。

Q1. 當初如何寫出〈微風微風〉這首歌的？這是專輯《春子》裡寫的第一首嗎？
我很喜歡一首中文老歌叫「玫瑰玫瑰我愛你」，悠揚的五聲音階有種春天飛揚的甜韻。我想重組那種氛圍、也把Les Paul & Mary Ford 那種 50 年代吉他的韻律感融合進來。雖然不是第一首專輯裏完成的作品，但復古、詼諧的質地很適合作為楔子，讓聽者進入舊的時空。
Q2. 〈微風微風〉想說一個什麼樣的故事？如何從遠距離戀愛連結到台灣早期社會務工的場景？
其實是在側寫自己的戀愛故事，當時正開始一段困難的感情。那時正值春天，我總想象徐徐的微風能夠穿過海洋傳送我的思念；同時因為從沒有經歷過遠距離，所有的擔心和不確定讓我非常膽怯，在心中已排練了許多種悲劇的收場。這首歌除了描寫春天徐徐吹動的情絲、也像是在用一種阿Q精神來預言感情終將失敗。寫歌的時候腦中閃過外公外婆早年手信裡的海誓山盟，總覺得那種亂世中尋尋覓覓只為一雙眼神的浪漫不復存在了。所以這首歌也註定聽起來復古吧！
Q3. 怎麼會想做老上海風的編曲？編曲設計上有哪些獨特的心思？
夜上海的爵士濾鏡，會給人一種緬懷舊時光的雅興。他也是傳統風格裡面，節奏最跳躍、情緒最甜蜜的一種風格。前奏逗趣的鐵琴、合聲女聲的咬字歌曲，皆考究崔萍50年代的抒情老歌。而薩克斯風的變奏則勾勒出思念伊人的線條。
Q4. Motoharu Fukada San 薩克斯風換宿的故事：怎麼認識跟找到他、來台灣一起錄音的故事、Fukada San 有聽過歌曲了嗎？有什麼反應？
在一次聚會中遇見Fukada San，得知他來台演出的場次意外被取消、住宿行程也隨之變卦，我當晚就提出可以讓他借宿我家一週。海外巡迴過的烏龍事，誰都不樂見⋯不過這樣的安排也迸發出音樂的火花！
我們每天起床就錄音即興、吃飯時間聽他聊起對台灣的印象以及巡演的故事。他說台灣的音樂環境讓他想起90年代的日本：有熱情和精力衝刺屬於自己的聲音；尚未被商業過度侵蝕。
他平常是個熱情和藹的大哥，錄製薩克斯風的時候，會變得異常嚴肅和專注。讓我見識到日本頂級樂手的武士道精神。聽完Demo的他說這是一首非常幽默俏皮的歌曲，非常喜歡！
Q5. 錄音過程有哪些有趣的發現
如果把場景換到現在，自己對於遠距離戀愛有什麼想法
共同製作人Jason在錄主唱時突發奇想使用了老式的對講機re-amp了前奏、製造出一種留聲機的質地。我覺得非常有時代感！
我覺得遠距離是一場愛情大戲，它考驗緣分與信任；也讓我更看清楚自己的需求。遠距離的狀態不是只有在分開的時候是遠距離，即便重聚了、相處在了一起，強大的張力和情緒總和，也是獨有一種狀態，這是困難的另一個層面。但⋯人生很美麗的，想著這個我就有了探索的勇氣。而過了兩年，我們感情穩定、自己也蛻變成新的狀態了！
