Marzenia małej dziewczynki, która po raz pierwszy zobaczyła na żywo wysokie wieżowce i pomyślała, że mieszkają i pracują tu lepsi ludzie. Była to Warszawa.
Była w Warszawie na wycieczce szkolnej i poszli na Marszałkowską do Empiku. Buszowała w Empiku i zachwyciła ją różnorodność produktów, kolorów, tytułów, i że ludzie tutaj siedzą i czytają sobie książki, zamiast je kupić. Przez myśl jej przemknęło, że chyba fajnie byłoby pracować w takim miejscu, ale to pewnie marzenia innych lepszych ludzi.
Na studiach dostała się do UW i buszowała już w Empiku bardzo często.
Po latach pracy w korpo, zaaplikowała do Empiku, bo akurat był wakat. Dostała stanowisko menadżerskie i pracowała na open-space w głównej siedzibie Empiku przy oknie z widokiem na Pałac Kultury. Chodziła na spotkania biznesowe analizując. rynek wydawniczy i potencjał danych tytułów. Pracowała między półkami książek, płyt CD i DVD z autografami najlepszych twórców i artystów z całego świata, współpracowała z szefami działów w centrali Empiku. Na odchodne dostała stos książek i płyt dla siebie i jej dzieci 🥹.
Ale nawet przez chwilę nie pomyślała, że jej własna książka znajdzie się w Empiku.
Wie jaki to trudny temat, aby książka znalazła się na półce, ale nawet w online nie było jej marzeniem.
Życie pisze takie scenariusze, o których nawet nie śmiałaś marzyć! 🪄
Dla mnie to 📖 przede wszystkim hołd moim przodkom, mojemu tacie, z którym miałam ograniczony czas, mojej mamie, głównie dzięki której jestem kim jestem, z zaletami i słabościami.
