いつも可愛がってくれるパパの靴下
スキさえあれば狙ってます
大好きな人の匂いだから落ち着くのかな？
靴下の奪い合いしてるはずなのに
とっても楽しそう？嬉しそう？なパパ。
帰りはちゃんと靴下を返してもらって
帰路へ立ったパパなのでした。
お父さんとお母さんはずっとそばで支えて
あなたの成長を誰よりも喜んでくれるはず。
そんなあなたを
家族の形を
僕も陰ながらそっと見守らせていただけるのが
とても嬉しいし生きがいです。
この日、僕はお兄ちゃんになった。
予定日を過ぎても生まれてこなかった妹は、
まるで鈴の音を待っていたかのように、
行進が終わって2時間後に生まれてきた。
だから僕にとってチャグチャグ馬コは、
毎年のお祭りではなく、
妹が生まれた日の音にもなった。
雨降るかと思えば最後まで晴れ間が。
素敵な取材相手の皆さまと素敵な空間に癒されました。

昨日撮ったばかりなのに
もっと長い時間が流れたような不思議な感覚があります。
以前撮影に来てくださった方がまた足を運んでくれて
その間にどんな時間を過ごしてきたのだろうと想像が膨らみました。
はじめましての方とは、
これから先の時間を思いながらシャッターを切りました。
スタジオが新しくなっても、撮りたいものは変わりません。
今そこにある姿を、そのまま残したいこと。
ポーズや構図も大切だけれど、
それを一緒に楽しめる関係性や、
少し照れながら過ごす時間、思わず出てしまう仕草や表情。
そういうものこそ写真に写るし、
残したいものだと思っています。
笑顔でカメラを見つめる写真ももちろん素敵です。
でもそれだけではなく、
第三者だからこそ見える表情や関係性、
その場に流れる空気があると思います。
自分たちで撮る写真には、
自分たちだけの良さがあります。
けれど、自分では見えていない瞬間を残せることが
カメラマンが撮る意味のひとつだと思っています。
だから同じ場所で撮っていても、
写真はひとつとして同じにならないと思います。
全部違って、全部いい。
これからもたくさんの方が

はじめは誰も知らなかった小さな写真館でしたが、こうしてたくさんの方に知っていただき、大切にしていただける場所になったことを心から嬉しく思っています。
3年という時間はあっという間だったようにも感じますし、その中にはたくさんの出会いや出来事が詰まっていたようにも感じます。
写真はシャッターを切る瞬間だけではなく、「撮ってみようかな」と思った時から始まっている気がします。
どんな服を着ようか、どんな髪型にしようか、どんな写真になるだろうか。
そんな時間も含めて撮影の一部であり、撮影が終わったあとも、データを見返したり、お部屋に飾ったプリントを眺めたりすることで、その時の気持ちまで一緒に残してくれるものだと思っています。
そんな時間や思い出を残すお手伝いができることを、いつも嬉しく、そして尊く感じています。
