I'm not sure who is going to see this since I have been inactive, but I wanted to come on to be transparent with my Moonlight fam and catch everyone up on how I have been feeling lately.
I feel like I've let everyone down around me by losing my spark. Going from feeling on top of the world to feeling like a failure is not an easy thing to cope with.
The last 2 years have been a tremendous struggle for me. I have gone through a lot in my personal life and have had to do some soul searching within to try and find my light again. To be honest, there were many times I was afraid I would never find it again or feel how I used to feel. I lost my spark and passion completely for what started as a creative outlet for me.
I've learned and accepted that I blamed my business for a lot of what was going on in my personal life, including losing people I thought I would never lose. This made it very hard for me to pick up the pieces and just carry business on like everything was okay. Once you go through something traumatic, it's very hard to separate the good from the bad. I had completely turned against this platform and what I had built because I associated it with sadness, which was ironic because, at one point, it brought me so much happiness.
I'm very grateful to say that I am the healthiest and happiest I have been and I am no longer in a place where I see my beautiful business I've built as self sabotage, but an opportunity to reach my full potential as a passionate creator and lover of spreading light and positivity.
I'm not ready to give up on my Moonlight babes. I will slowly start to post on this account again and bring you the magic we all remember. My hope is that we can recreate the community we had and continue to grow together through the highs and lows.
