Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit Fox’s class and celebrate. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from hanging out with my kid’s peers it is this… allow kids to be curious and ask questions. Kids care and want to understand! Different doesn’t have to be scary. Kids are curious and capable of understanding far more than we give them credit for. Don’t limit their curiosity! I’m so thankful for the community Wren and Fox have surrounding them. Genuine friendships and fierce advocates that help them feel loved, seen, and safe.
Down syndrome has been such a gift to us. It has changed our perspective and shifted the way we live our lives. We will never stop fighting for a better world for Wren and Fox.
