緑ヶ丘美術館は奈良県生駒市の閑静な住宅地の一角に2017年7月に開館した私立美術館で、陶芸や漆芸、人形など日本の伝統工芸を中心に収集して、展覧会を開催しています。本展は緑ヶ丘美術館の収蔵品から、現在第一線で活躍中の現代陶芸家を中心に77人の水指と茶碗、茶入等を紹介します。備前焼の隠﨑隆一や丹波焼の市野雅彦ら各地の窯業地を代表する実力派から独自の表現技法で注目される高橋朋子や新里明士ら人気作家、1990年代生まれの金田萌永ら気鋭の若手作家まで、幅広い世代の陶芸家が水指と茶碗をテーマで競演。伝統的な茶陶という用の美に作家それぞれの個性が光り、茶の湯の新しい風景を創出します。

いままで常にどこかで展示していただくような状況が続き、たくさんの作品をお迎えいただけたことを、本当に嬉しくありがたく思っています。
その一方で、練り込みという技法の特性もあり、どうしても制作が追いつかなくなってきたこともあって、ここから1〜2年ほどは日々の制作の傍で、以前から興味のあったことを勉強したり、新たな作品制作に向き合ったりする時間も少し持てたらと思っています…！
これまでより、作品販売を伴う個展・企画展はペースを落とす予定ですが、すでに決まっている予定も色々とありますので、引き続き楽しみにしていただけましたら幸いです。
これを機に、ようやくギャラリーやお取り扱い店舗をまとめました。
作品を気にかけてくださっている方は、展覧会のほか、常設のお取り扱い店舗もぜひご覧いただけましたら幸いです。
（ここ3年ほどの間に作品を納品した場所をまとめましたが、現在の在庫状況などは把握しておりませんので、お近くのお店へお問い合わせいただけますと幸いです。）
追ってHPもリニューアル予定ですので、そちらにも掲載したいと思っています！
（5年前にHPを作った頃は、ほとんど書ける内容もなかったので、この数年で本当にたくさんのご縁をいただいたんだなと感慨深いです…）
陶芸の制作自体は変わらず続けていきますので、今後も楽しみにしていただけましたら嬉しいです😌❤️🔥
会期中は、懐かしい再会や嬉しいお声がけなど、たくさんの方にお越しいただき、本当にありがとうございました。
Sophoraさんでは、引き続き作品をお取り扱いいただくほか、7月末開催予定の20周年記念展にも参加させていただきます。

作家活動を始めてから、有り難いことに休む暇なく展示の機会をいただいてきましたが、
次の個展までは、もしかしたら少し長めに間が空くかもしれません。
この先しばらくは、展示のペースを少し落としながら、
以前から勉強してみたかったことや、新たに挑戦してみたいことに向き合う時間を持てたらと思っています。
これからも、ゆっくり見守っていただけましたら嬉しいです。

こどもの日、5月5日をもちまして【金田萌永展】は好評のうちに終了いたしました。ご来店くださいました皆さま、お問い合わせをお寄せくださいました皆さま、誠にありがとうございました。
初めての展覧会から早2年。本展でご紹介いたしました金田萌永さんの練込み作品は、驚くほど丁寧な手仕事にさらに磨きがかかり、幾重にも時間を重ねながら、その工程すら愉しむように生み出された、伸びやかで美しい作品ばかりでした。その佇まいに、見惚れる方も多くいらっしゃいました。
また、ご好評いただきました “balloon” シリーズは、作品数を遥かに超える多くの方々の心を射止め、次回展への期待を寄せてくださる場面も多くございました。
皆さまにお求めいただきました作品の数々が、お傍で末永く愛されますように。
また、今夏開催いたしますSophora20周年記念展には、金田さんにもご出展いただきます。どうぞお愉しみに♪
